This is a lovely and different way to see the city. Although we aren't experienced kayakers we managed - although the staff may disagree! My niece and I shared a kayak and had difficulty getting co-ordinated to start with. The instructor could have been more helpful at the beginning. Although she spoke good English her language and accent made it... More

Being so low to the water gives you a unique view of this city and its full of wonder. From being part of the harbour life alongside other boats which gives the most amazing views of Venice to exploring the back canals with hidden views of houses and washing lines and under bridges. Wow! This was one of my favourite... More

Our family of 4--with daughters ages 10 & 13, thoroughly enjoyed this kayaking tour. It was a fun way to gain perspective of Venice. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We all highly recommend.

I have been to Venice multiple times and this was my favorite experience. Both guides were excellent and safety was their primary concern. The equipment was also top notch. We spent an amazing 90 minutes actually in the narrow canals of Venice. The rest of the time was spent getting to and from Certosa. We did the morning tour and... More

Four of us booked a kayak tour/history lesson during our recent visit and found it to be a unique experience. Rene showed us the way through the city and showed us the history of Venice in a way you'll never get from a book. Our tour took us through 17 km of canals at a leisurely pace for most of... More

Not many people are aware of this but you can actually explore the whole of Venice through a guided kayak tour. You can choose the length of the tour - from an hour if you just want to get a taste of it to an entire day if you want explore in depth and love kayaking. Its definitely worth doing... More

Booked and took part in the Vogalonga weekend in May. It was fantastic and not as traumatic as we thought it would be, my wife had only paddled 12 miles before, so we hired a double kayak. Instruction and gear is ok, kayaks are sound, Guides helpful but you had best do some paddling before you get there the waterways... More

This was an amazing tour that will be a memory of a lifetime. In a city that is so full of tourism, it was nice to get a vantage point that so few others get the chance to see. Our tour guide, Giovanni, is a true Venetian. Still believes in the Rupublic of Valencia and really cares about his city!... More

We are two friends who go kayaking from time to time in the summer. This time we tried out a whole day of paddling in Venice, guided by Loretta. A luxury situation, two persons and one guide. We warmly recommend this, it is the perfect way of exploring Venice. It is the city of waterways, and should of course be... More

We're very happy to hear that you enjoyed the kayaking tour. We try to put safety first, whch is why our guides can at times be a bit annoying, but there is a good deal of traffic in Venice. Venice Kayak offers special historical tours in kayak in Venice for those who'd like to learn more about the city and... More

My husband and I did a half day afternoon tour with three others making up our group of 5. None of us were experts but all had s reasonable ability. The whole trip was a challenge but also a joy (and a little nerve wracking in the very narrow canals, but In an exciting way!). Our guide, Loretta, was very... More
