Almost did not come due to the previous reviews, so glad we did, the service was incredible and the food matched, sure its not cheap, though quality rarely is. This is a must do for anyone who enjoys quality and institution combined.

If whomever Harry was, he would be teary today to see how his wonderful bar is being managed. This place had buckets and buckets of potential but the team of staff need a large kick in the butt... You arrive in and the welcome is non existent and no smiles at at all. There is just SO much you could... More

Loved this place. So many famous and infamous people have been known to imbibe at this historical spot. The food and the drinks are spot on and pricey! I'd say worth every Euro.

This bar is a total rip off, with snobbery of the highest level.Six of us went in at 10.00 clock at night and were promptly whisked upstairs into a souless room with no atmosphere whatever.with waiters that look right down there noses at you. You then order a bellini that is going to cost you 16.5 Euros and is quite frankly... More

This place should be avoided. It's like a bad, manky pub. It's overrated nonsense. Avoid at all costs. Don't look at this review and think I am talking rubbish. Honestly this place is a nonsense tourist trap and should be avoided. Venice is amazing and this place shouldn't be here!

Went on the morning of my birthday. What a lovely place to drink Bellinis and try to forget you're 40!! The amazing staff also created and non-alcoholic version of white peach juice and fizzy water for my daughter. They brought us so many nibbles that we didn't need lunch. Expensive? Yes! Worth it? Absolutely!!!

We went in very briefly for a few drinks before dinner, and really enjoyed it. Had a nice bustling atmosphere, and we were given some complimentary chicken and mushroom croquettes (which were delicious). Bloody Mary was one of the best I've had, served in a small glass but a lot stronger to make up for it. The screwdriver was good,... More

This bar is a must visit while in Venice. With long history and passion for hospitality passed generations from dad to son. The place where the Bellini was created by Giuseppe Cipriani inspired toga of a saint in a painting by 15th-century Venetian artist Giovanni Bellini. Today his 82 years old son Arrigo Cipriani still can be seen at the... More

Yes, I'd read the reviews. I knew the Bellini's were €16.50 each. I knew we couldn't wear shorts, that the service would be unfriendly, that it was pokey, no atmosphere and cramped. But - it couldn't be that bad could it? It was. Four of us had dressed up a bit (jackets for the gents, cocktail dress for the lady).... More

The reputation is better than the reality. I went to better bars in college and far cheaper with better service. Still, go once...once and done in my opinion
