Can't really give a review. Sat at bar and were asked to leave. My husband was wearing dress khaki shorts with polo shirt and I was wearing a dress. Oh well.

We had a neighborhood trip to Europe and Harry's Bar was the meet-up spot for the four families as we all traveled in at different times. It was fine- you can see why people would come here back in the day- the service was impeccable. But- honestly, I had a better Bellini from a bottle that we bought from the... More

Back in the day, this may have been the hangout of the rich and famous - but either they enjoyed slumming it from time to time, or this place is a shadow of its former self. You go to Harry's to try a Bellini, but my wife (...a born and bred Venetian) was unimpressed: the fact that it was clearly... More

We have been to Harry's Bar many times for lunch and dinner, every time we gone we have been treated very well, had fabulous service, fabulous food and wonderful Bellini's. The pasta is to die for, their lemon meringue the best I have ever had! I only have great things to say, maybe they don't like people popping in for... More

I've always wanted to follow in Papa's footsteps but never had the chance on previous visits to Venice. Made it there this time. Had a beautiful Bellini and a very nice dinner but the price left a bitter taste! The exchange rate must have been better in Hemingway's day. At least I can say I've been there!

Hemingway and others in the past may have enjoyed this place, but those days are long gone. Now, this is just an overpriced tourist trap trading on its past. While the location is perfect, you'd never know it from the inside. The bellinis were tasty, but we almost choked when we saw how much they cost. Save yourself some time... More

We were looking forward to visiting here....it promised so much, but delivered so little that was positive. My wife and I were made to feel positively unwelcome......we were ushered upstairs on the back of some mumbled justification that I wasn't wearing long trousers.....even though it was half empty on a sweltering hot Thursday afternoon in July! And guess what.....the few... More

The only reason the majority of people go to Harry's bar is because some greats of the past used to drink there and they hope for some old world charm. These greats, were they alive now, would never step foot in this place. They probably came because the drinks used to be good and reasonably priced, they are neither now... More

I'm sure the only reason people go to Harry's Bar is to be able to SAY they went there ... which is the reason that we went. 50 euro for two soft drinks and a gin and tonic. Not what I expected, no view at all, bland decor, full of tourists. But hey, we were in Venice, we went and... More

One of the famous places in Venice to visit. A good experience but an over priced way to have a Bellini!
