This is a place I HAD to visit. What a disappointment from the dowdy and run down interior to the poor service to the high prices. Thankfully the slow service allowed me to come to my senses and leave before getting fleeced for a Martini and they do not even have Hendrick's Gin IF you want to spend this much... More

Having a Bellini at Harry's Bar Venice now ticked off the list but at over 72.00 Euros for 4 drinks in a bar that looked little or no better than Wimborne Rugby Club I'm left wishing we hadn't bothered. Best to keep the romantic dream alive rather than experiencing the reality of what is an over priced bar with no... More

This place is well known for the history behind it. It is where Mr. Cipriani gave birth to one of the most famous cocktail in the world: Bellini. Plenty of people go there to try it, by hoping to be seated near by some V.I.P but they will soon realize, as myself, how spending 5 minutes into the Harry's bar... More

I had wanted to have a drink at Harry's bar but to pay 17 euros for a Bellini is way out of line -- but I had 2 and free olives and a post card to boot

Having been in Harrys Bar on previous visits to Venice for drinks which we found expensive but tolerable in such a landmark, we thought that we would book for a meal when meeting our friends from Australia. I checked the sample menu on the web site and thought that it looked fairly reasonable, once again for Venice. Having turned up... More

As others have said Harry's Bar was a complete disappointment. My husband and I were aware the drinks were expensive and were prepared for that. What we weren't prepared for was the cramped space and rude wait staff. We love to visit iconic locales and are willing to pay for the experience when the service is top notch. Unfortunately, the... Wanted this visit to be so good! as the guide books say it is! but alas no! surly waiters, no atmosphere and very very expensive! Total cost about 36E for 2 Bellini's and a few olives! in a room that has no view at all! saw more than a few couple come in, look at the price list and then... More

Harry's Bar should be an iconic place to visit. Unfortunately it is not, poor service and greatly overpriced, call in, take photo and leave. Nearly, the biggest rip off in Venice.

I'm glad I went to the birthplace of Bellinis. However it is more that I can say I did than due to the awesomeness of the drinks. The Bellini was good, and my husband had a whiskey sour. Both were small. The bartender did give us some olives and 2 meatballs. The total cost was around $35. The atmosphere was... More

The quality of drinks and ridiculous prices make me wonder why anyone would go. Harry's Bar in Roma has great ambience. In Venice, it's a dump. Don't waste you time or money
