Went in with a GF, and told we could not order wine. We ordered 16.50€ belinnis. With in minutes an American couple arrives and orders wine, and promptly receives from our same waiter ... Two glasses of wine. And to top it off, two Italian speaking lovers arrive and are given two Bellinis and told not to pay. "Ciao..gratzie" they... More

Stick your head in the door then leave just to say you went. Total rip off. Prices extortionate. Small (very) Bellini 12.50 euro, G and T 20.75 euro. Not even very interesting venue. Popular with gulible American tourists

The place is terrible: any train station bar in Itaky can keep up. Packed with people who drink extremely expensive drinks in a loud atomosphere. Chairs from 50 years back. We got there because it is famos. Well - just like Jaguar cars were famous until everybody understood that you had to have three of them because two were always... More

having heard so much about this iconic bar we felt it was a must to go and I'm glad we did but probably put it in the ticked box of things done and wouldn't rush back. The cocktails were lovely but very pricy, the decor very 1950's walnut veneer and the service good as you would expect.

Harry's is so understated that you can pass it by easily. However once inside the fact that it is one of the most unique places in the world slowly creeps up on you. A Bellini of course invented there. Carpacio of beef yes also created there. We ate there twice over the weekend . The best pasta dishes I have... More

Why does anyone visit Harry's Bar in Venice? Well it is to be part of the cognoscenti a group of glitterati that contains Kings, Hollywood Stars and famous writers. You can sit in the small elegant room where Hemingway whiled away a year or perch on the bar surveying a white tuxedoed gentleman prepare cocktails like you have never experienced... More

Here is the thing. I know this place is an institution. But they dont have any outdoor seating. It is very small. We showed up there late, hoping for a bite to eat. They said we would have to stand, didn't even offer to add us to a list. I would have piad 16 euros to try the bellini, but... More

I'm in awe of the bad reviews! I appreciate that you step back in time when you go through the doors, but like most bars where a world famous cocktail was made (i.e. Raffles Hotel in Singapore) the bar tends to stay true to it's roots. My girlfriend and I had an awesome time, she was probably just happy that... More

There are many places around Venice to spend your money but Harry's Bar really isn't one of them. My hunting mate and I happened to be in town at the same time so we decided to go and have a look for ourselves at the badly reputed Harry's Bar. We soon decided it was just nothing to spend time or... More
