It's the most expensive place to drink in venice for sure! €130 for a couple to have 3 drinks each! However we loved it! Watched people come and go after one drink as it's the tourist thing to do. Ended up sat next to a famous chef one minute and a famous comedian the next. Old fashion drinks served by... More

On our last night in Venice we decided to visit Harry's bar for a treat. We knew the drinks would be expensive. The staff are dressed in white tuxedos and black bow ties, it felt like we had stepped back in time to the 1930's. It has a quiet, classy atmosphere. A waiter brought a drinks menu over, and I... What a shocker of a bar.. Went there as was advised to go. Horrific atmosphere I have had better at a wake. I got a rum cocktail that cost 22 euros.. Which was more like watered down fruit juice. Brutal. Sorry but wouldn't advise.. Walk straight past !!

What a dreary place. We went 25 years ago when we last visited Venice and thought we might give Harry's a second go on the basis it might have improved. What a waste of time. It was mid afternoon so thought we would just have a coffee and a cake and soak up the atmosphere. None to soak up. I... More

A claustrophobic atmosphere but not a 'warm' one, cold and very business like. The drinks are average quality while the prices are very high-end. There were a few business, early evening meetings with food being ordered, we decided that 34 Euros for two small Bellini's was all we wanted in such a place. Staff are the frostiest we found in... Saw this in a travel guide as a must do and have never been more disappointed in my life with a product. Had 2 very average bellini's and was charged €36 for the privilege. To say I felt ripped off was an understatement. Do not bother going here, Venice is a beautiful place and there are better places to enjoy... More

It's all been said already but was totally shocked to get charged 36Euro for two bellini's. I don't care if they were invented there.

In all the guidebooks as somewhere to visit due to its history, it's a place to be seen but offers little charm or value for money. In fact we left feeling royally fleeced - over £30 euros for 2 grim proseccos & a small bowl of olives we didn't ask for. Don't bother....

Many complain that the place is a bit dowdy, plain etc but rather liked that - reminds me of an old fashioned railway carriage. However, that's the only thing I did like. Never having had a Bellini, I had no standard with which to compare it, but at 18 Euros a pop (thank you, George!), I was expecting something more.... More
