Hemingway and Chaplin were probaby welcomed more warmly than we were. The world's best bellinis are certainly not served up in the world's best pub and at euro16.50 they should come with bells and whistles rather than a bowl of hard olives. It's an institution. We have been there, done it and you will probably go anyway just to follow... More

We visited on a sunny afternoon, this was one of those bucket list "to do" things for my Dad, we finally stumbled on it by accident when we couldn't find it (it's a door in the side of a canal side building, no signage except on the frosted windows facing the canal). You push through the door into a small,... More

We visited Harry's bar at the recommendation of my brother and had quite high expectations. Sadly, they didn't materialise. The staff gave the impression that we were doing them a favour by visiting; the welcome was perfunctory, the plate of olives just dropped on the table (they weren't particularly good either), the tables crowded together and the drinks expensive. We... More

Tried to visit Harrys bar when we were on a cruise on arriving we were told there was a dress code, my husband had on shorts, we were told to come back after 3 which we did as and were still not allowed in. Really disappointed as was looking forward to a Bellini. Managed to get one sitting in the... More

My husband hated it, not sure what he was expecting, I did not mind it, and it was like I thought it would be like, but very expensive. I thought the staff were well dressed and the service was very fast, but would never go again, just something you need to do once. Drink comes with olives, we told the... More

Popped into Harry Bar for a Bellini. Couldn't get the attention of the waiters. They are too busy talking to each other and making Bellinis in mass. Constant popping of Presecco bottles. At €16.50 I expect a long drink, but it's so not worth it. The couple who came in, sat down looked and the menu and left had the... More

Almost did not come due to the previous reviews, so glad we did, the service was incredible and the food matched, sure its not cheap, though quality rarely is. This is a must do for anyone who enjoys quality and institution combined.

If whomever Harry was, he would be teary today to see how his wonderful bar is being managed. This place had buckets and buckets of potential but the team of staff need a large kick in the butt... You arrive in and the welcome is non existent and no smiles at at all. There is just SO much you could... More

Loved this place. So many famous and infamous people have been known to imbibe at this historical spot. The food and the drinks are spot on and pricey! I'd say worth every Euro.

This bar is a total rip off, with snobbery of the highest level.Six of us went in at 10.00 clock at night and were promptly whisked upstairs into a souless room with no atmosphere whatever.with waiters that look right down there noses at you. You then order a bellini that is going to cost you 16.5 Euros and is quite frankly... More
