The Frari is properly rated a three-star attraction in the city. It is monumental inside, populated with wonderful sculpture and paintings. Simply sitting and soaking up the atmosphere of calm can be most uplifting. Spent more than an hour there. More

The choir loft was gorgeous and it was large and well-decorated, but there were other churches we liked better. More

I should say I went in as it was raining! - the church itself is nothing special but the artwork is quite stunning - if you are into churches you can buy a 10 euro pass that covers most. More

All of the tombs around the nave of the church are beautiful and unique. Worth the visit to see. More
