If you will not visit this bridge then you haven't been to Venice. One of the main sight in Venice. Have your photo taken during sunset for a more romantic setting.

You have seen it so many times in classical drama to James bond boat chases, but it has to been seen by your own eye. If you don't mind the very crowded streets and noisy tourists then any time is fine, seen by night the whole area in pretty lights, it is much quieter and peaceful and the Grand Canal... More

The bridge is beautiful and iconic to Venice, so a must see. By all means go onto the bridge itself but it is incredibly crowded, full of tourists and tat sold on markets sadly. You really appreciate the bridge from the river, so take it in when you are on a boat or walking along the grand canal. It's just... More

Such a busy bridge! It overlooks the grand canal, with lots of little shops on either side. Breathtaking!

As everything in Venice, the Rialto Bridge is a beautiful place that you must visit. On each side of the bridge there is a corridor for pedestrians, and in the middle there are people selling souvenirs and other stuffs. Nice place to visit in Venice.

The bridge itself is part of history. If you walk up the middle through the shops it is a great place for (window) shopping. If you walk up the outside you have a great view of the Grand Canal. We went early morning before everything was open and watched Venice waking up.

Yes it’s a landmark, but it’s also filled with tourists.. you can hardly move and you become more concerned about pick pockets than enjoying the venue.. The bridge has some cheap gift shops located along the inner section, but nothing you won’t find elsewhere … You have to see it, but the best picture is not on the bride, but... More

Would love to come when there aren't so many tourist groups! Had lunch near the bridge, be advised we had to pay 2 euro to sit at the outside table.

We visited the bridge and San Marco Piazza for a couple hours and then avoided it the rest of our three days in Venice. It's super crowded, lines for everything and prices very high. Walk a few blocks and enjoy what Venice is really about - this place is just plain crazy busy! But a must see

Iconic spot in the world let alone Venice. Truly romantic to walk over this bridge with the canals beneath you dotted with gondolas. Beautiful shops and restaurants in narrow streets either side. Little streets that lead nowhere except down to the canal again. Loved it!
