The Rialto bridge in Venice is a collection of arty / craft shops over the waterways in Venice, a walk around Venice at sundown is in my opinion one of the best ways to see Venice. The city is far to hot during the day in summer, but in the evenings Venice takes on a magical feel and places like... More

Stand on the bridge and get a great back drop of the Venice Canal, beautiful! You can also get a great picture on either side in front or behind at canal level. April is a great month to go, before school is let out and it's hot. The shops located on both ends have gorgeous Venetian mask!!!

Hotel was very close by here so we passed by / crossed over the Rialto bridge ever so often in our 2D2N trip in Venice. Great place to take pic in the early morning or late night. Too crowded in the afternoon to get a decent picture of yourself with the background (bound to have tourists in your background). Great... More

Always crowded, but a must-see. Looks great both from ashore and from a boat, so if you have time, do take a boat ride along the Grand Canal to admire it from the water.

The Rialto bridge is one of a kind. Where else can you stand motionless for minutes behind other people taking pictures of themselves whilst people try to sell you fake handbags and pigs that will stick to any surface you throw it at! Nevermind the view, its what's on the bridge that counts, A-Star for effort. You start off on... More

One of only 4 bridges crossing the Grand Canal, this is a must see in Venice. The bridge itself is very busy - lots of steps, with an internal (uncovered) corridor of shops. Nearby there are lots of bars, restaurants and cafes.

The Rialto bridge, a must see in Venice. Is it worth it. Yeah, pretty much. There's a lot going on all around the bridge. Good food, good shops and great atmosphere. If it's the bridge you're going to see, well, then be prepared, it's just a bridge. If it's a taste for Venice you want, then you're going to the... More

It was interesting crossing the bridge, we found this little store called Rivoaltus, they have old style pens and cotton sheeted notebooks wrapped in real italian leather. Some of them are so big and beautiful just like old old books. They are very expensive though, it's worth it if you have that budget.

A must see if in Venice, however gets really crowded for the photos. Nearby are some good restaurants but pricey because your on the Grand Canal.

This is one of the many bridge crossing the Grand Canal and it is one of the most busiest ferry stop. Almost all ferry lines passing through Grand Canal will stop in this location and it is in the middle of the Grand Canal, so it is a good place to wait (if you have different group of people). It...
