One of the few bridges crossing the Grand Canal, it is always busy. There are shops selling various items, front the cheaper tourist bits and pieces to the more expensive gold and silver items. It is seen from the Vaperreto, but beware, some children do try to spit on the boats paasing!!!! The architecture is grand, it is well worth... More

Just about the center of activity outside of St Mark's. Everything happens here. Don't miss seeing it.

This is probably the most famous bridge in Venice. We stayed in a hotel close by and used the vaporetto stop often. The bridge looks great during day and night and we were lucky we didn't encounter many tourists around.

A must see attraction whilst in Venice but definitely nicer to see from the Valporetto going up the Grand Canal than walking over it. The bridge itself was full of tourists (unsurprisingly) and some relatively "tacky" tourist shops plus whilst you are walking over it you can't really appreciate the style or the architecture.

The Rialto bridge is the sort of the main bridge in Venice. There are plenty of vendors up and down the bridge if you are looking for souvenirs. On either side of the bridge along the water there are restaurants and gelato shops. You would think from the looks of the restaurants that they are tourist traps, but they are... More

Was expecting so much from this having read so many reviews, but it was just a marketplace, with overpriced fake soccer jerseys, coloured pasta and glass ornaments. The bridge itself is an architectural beauty, but unless marketplaces are your thing, then just visit it in passing.

This historical Woody Bridge provide a breath taking view over the grand canal. From there you can see the restaurants and coffees on the canal shore, the water buses and taxies and the private launches go through the canal. One the northern section of the canal when you cross the bridge you will find lots of stores for souvenirs in... More

Rialto Bridge is maybe one of the most famous sights in the world, and it lives to the expectation!! The views from the bridge are great, especially on sunrise and sunset, although it will be packed at anytime, so if you want to take good pics, you might have to wait up a few minutes in order to be able... Way over rated with way to many crowds their are better views on the other bridges that give you a great view of the canal. However it is free.
