I just loved the splendour and the workmanship in this palace. It is very stately and an echo of how rich the doges were. I am glad we did the Doges Palace. Don't get the audio guide - very boring and monotone. We did seem to wander about and wonder if we missed anything as we the Secret Tours were booked solid. more

The interior of the building is pretty and very interesting, but I wish we could have taken the Secret Itinerary tour for a bit more information. Book it several days in advance. Otherwise, you just kind of meander about. more
