I booked Sabrina for two guided tours for myself and family. She was recommended by another guide (who we had booked on a previous trip) who was unavailable for my family trip on this occasion. We booked two tours-one in the daytime on a walking tour and the other at night to see Venice from the canal. Sabrina was an excellent... More

This is by far the best way to see Venice! I traveled with a group of architects, and had special preferences for what we wanted to see and do. I contacted several companies to get a customized tour. Of all the companies I wrote to, AGIV was the only one that responded quickly, professionally and actually answered to our preferences,... More

Sabrina as a fantastic guide! She worked hard to find interesting artisans for us to visit, and was a friendly, personable, light-hearted and VERY knowledgeable guide. She made complex issues and history very approachable. We had two tours with her, and both were fabulous. I recommend her strongly.

Fernando was fabulous. When we first arrived in Venice, we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of tourists! As soon as we met Fernando, he took us on an informative tour of St. Mark's Cathedral, showing us elements we never would've noticed on our own, and then he whisked us away on a boat to the lovely Murano. After our... More

Took the Back Streets of Venice tour late afternoon which was great. Fernando was informative and showed us parts of Venice you wouldn't see on other larger tours. Fernando concluded the tour with a boat ride down the Grand Canal at sunset which was spectacular. Not many places take my breath away but this certainly did. We did a few... More

Helene gave us a lively, intelligent tour of Venice. She is knowledgeable of many facets of the city: its history, culture, shopping and its contemporary issues. Venice is difficult to explore without a guide, and Helene was superb, very personable, and we highly recommend her. It was an exceptional tour and she tailored it to our interests.

Sabrina was fantastic in keeping our entire family engaged during our tour of Venice. Some flexibility with our schedule really helped us as well. Sabrina's knowledge and passion for the city was evident throughout. Our kids learned a lot, and after the walking tour it was great to end with a tour of the Grand Canal in our beautiful wood... In September a group of six adults and 2 teens spent 4 days in Venice. We scheduled 2 separate tours with Sabrina: TOTAL HOME RUN from the moment that we met Sabrina I knew it was a great decision. Completely worth the investment of money and time. We organized the itinerary ahead: 3-hour tour by boat concentrating on architecture, history... More

In June, 2014 our group of eight took a two week trip to Italy. We started our trip in Venice where we were cared for by Hélène through a company called A Guide In Venice (aguideinvenice.com). As the inexperienced organizer of this trip I was very thankful how great Hélène was pre-trip in responding to my e-mails, answering questions and... More

We had a wonderful tour of Venice with Fernando of AGIV which included a walking tour of San Polo, a great private water taxi all around, and a tour of St. Mark's Basilica. Fernando was passionate about Venice, and was an informed and interesting commentator on all that we saw. A very good investment for the short time we had.
