Picked up the ferry from the San Stae vaporetto stop. Made sure to sit outside at the bow all the way down to San Marco. Beautiful bridges and buildings!

December is an amazing time to go, the markets are on, and the crowds are limited. The fog hangs, and the photo looks like we are standing in front of a painting. Beautiful. And we felt we had Venice to ourselves.

Visiting the Grand Canal and riding a gondola in it are synonymous with Venice. It's nice to just walk over, but also nice to ride a gondola beneath the Rialto Bridge and see the commotion of Venice from the water.

Great way to see the canal sights without walking the distance and spending all your euros on a luxury gondola or boat.

It's a big Canal and a lot of activity happen there. Don't recommend the tour with Gondola. But I do recommend you to walk there in the sunset. It is really romantic.

I can't even begin to describe the beauty of this place. My mouth just hung open in awe for most of the time we were there. It's one of those "you had to be there" places because my description would not do it justice. It's a lot of walking up and down. But so worth it. We didn't take the... More

Beautiful and scenic. Saw everything from the San Marco Square to the Rialto Bridge and market, the Bridge of Sigh, gondoliers.... Opted for unlimited day pass on the water taxi system.
