Visited Chiesda degli Eremitani and found it to be still carrying a lot of historic memorabilia. It saddens the heart to see this chapel as a casualty of World War II. But I believe that anything of beauty can always withstand the test of time and that is this chapel reminds me of. Poignantly simple but still pretty. more
