Day Trip to Venice sightseeing

I loved everything as it was my first time to Venice. The buildings and architecture were beautiful. Traveling around by boat was wonderful.

8 of us took the train from Vicenza to Venice, round trip was approx. 12 euro each, easy train ride. As soon as we got out of the Venice train station ther was so much to do, we first took the water Taxi to St. Marco square, water taxi was approx. 7 euro per person. The square was much smaller... When you visit Venice, you also visit Padua Town, a very pictures place at the foot of the hills facing the ocean. Lovely little streets full of residences and schools and universities, also petite hotels for the tourists traffic to Venice. Something unique in the place, tranquility and peace one can experience here. A place worth the visit.

With every city I have visited I always thought the one I was in was the most beautiful than the last one...and then there was Venice. Of them all I know true love when I feel it....its not a city you see its a place that you feel in your heart. And long after you leave it will linger...thank goodness.... More

There is no need to tell that Venice is the most romantic city in the world as you may find Venice on the internet on each top 10 romantic destinations to visit. If you are lucky with the weather you will be impressed with small buildings and architecture of this city. Don't forget to take a post card photo on... More

This is the place where you would love to spent your life relaxing in the middle of history and tradition. Pleasant climate on summers. walk around the markets, try the water taxi and canal tours, relax in some water front hotels enjoying the vine or beer with a slice of pizza. Gondola ride will be a additional fun in your... More

We spent two rewarding days with Mario—a drive near Verona to two Valpolicella wineries and a drive near Padua for a cooking experience at another winery. Both were fantastic! We learned many important and invaluable lessons about wine, about food, and about the culture in the Venice area. As our guide and teacher, Mario was very personable and friendly. As... More

Mario and Silvia took wonderful care of my friend and I while we stayed in the Veneto Region. Mario translated our cooking classes, taught us about wine and gave us two fantastic wine tours. We learned so much from him I doubt my friend or I will ever look at wine the same again, in a very good way. Silvia... More
