Whilst the Cathedral is indeed beautiful it is the Baptistry that demands a visit. It is simply breath-taking.
The square contains a number of lovely little bars & restaurants & it's only a short walk to other Padua attractions.
We enjoyed good weather during our stay & Piazza dell Duomo is the perfect place to relax & enjoy a glass...

Padova is only some 20 minutes or so from Venice.
The City is ancient and has many attractions not least the Ancient Venician Palaces along the river.
The market in the centre of Padova is well worth a walk around, as are the many Churches and monuments.
As ever in Italy there is exceptional food of all types.
