Nice piazza

A nice piazza with lots of restaurants, ice-cream shops, a duomo, and a fountain. Great place to visit, either with friends or alone

It is an old square with some cafes, a hotel, a sock store, sales people, ice cream and so on. A bit more expensive then in the cosy alleys.

Trento is a beautiful city. It is not yet overrun with tourist and has great restaurants and shops. The Piazza Duomo is a wonderful place to people watch while enjoying a coffee or spritz.

The downtown of Trento is small, very small. And it all rolls around this square, with the cathedral (Duomo) and it's bishop palace. The square itself is nice, surrounded by ancient buildings, some of which with beautiful frescoes. The fountain in the center includes some great sculptures, like the sides of the cathedral. Don't miss the undeground in the cathedral... More

This is a very large car-free square with important monuments (e.g. the Duomo, the Neptune fountain) and beautiful buildings (such as the Case Cazuffi-Rella which are covered with delightful Quattrocento frescoes), plus agreable cafés and restaurants (we tried the Scrigno del Duomo, which offered exquisite wine and food). Trento is a city not to be missed.

Lovely piazza - one of the best that we've seen throughout Italy. It's full of cafes, and it has such a relaxing vibe.

Beautifull place with a creative statue of San Virgilio, the saint who protects the nice city of Trento.

While on our way from Brecia to Bolzano we needed a break and Trento was the perfect place to stop, have a drink in the main Piazza, check out the Duomo, and watch the passing parade of people. One does feel the mix of German/Austria and Italian in both the air and the chatter. The service at the sidewalk cafe... More

More than your typical town square. The buildings were amazing. Lots of variety in choice of cafes and restaurants.

As a first stop in Trento this is a great place to head for to take in the atmosphere if this great city. Sit down and have a drink or a coffee and people watch. Some lovely streets situated off the Piazza for shopping, eating or taking photos. Enjoy!
