While visiting Merano in early July we spent two blissful hours floating about the various heated pools at the Terme Merano. The Terme Spa building itself is a very large modern design glass and steel cube, so when inside visitors can also view the town and mountains in the distance. The pools extend out into large landscaped gardens with more... More

We had a lovely afternoon at this terme. Stylish buidling, heated pools inside and outside, lots of saunas, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.

If you are inside the spa you can't take a single picture of your own face, even if you are in the external pool. Photography is forbidden, ok. But how comes external visitors can take pictures of everyone inside through the glass balustrade on the internal pools (entrance hall)???!!??? Visiting people are ceaselessly taking pictures of everyone inside, with mobile... More

Many people go to the thermal bath to relax, but having children running around screaming and splashing is not relaxing. Maybe if there would be an area designated for children it might make for a more enjoyable experience.

First class infrastructure with stylish design and well maintained. Unfortunately it is designed for maximising customer hourly throughput, but not the customer spa experience. Service details are simply not there, cashiers sell tickets but do not give information, towels need to be rented on a separate shop with separate payment (bring your own towel like on a public swimming pool),... We went here on Easter Monday, so it was quite crowded. I guess it would have been more relaxing on a week day (the entrance fee is lower on week days as well!). Fairly enough, you can peek through the window from the cashier's to see how full the pool area is. We didn't go to the sauna since we... More

A long tali to the entrance but inside the atmosphere is charming and we had a brilliant afternoon concluded with a visit to Christmas market outside

I have been many times and every time is wonderful: I would suggest to go during the week or avoiding the busy week-end like Christmas and Easter. The amazing experience is to go in winter and swim outside: you'll be in 37°C water, while you'll see the Mountains covered of Snow with a fresh hair around -7 or -8 °C!... More

We have been here for the last few years, as my wife works in Meran for a week or so in August. I take my (now 9 year old) son usually once or twice as a treat. The Spa has 2 types of pool, fresh and saltwater, both heated. It is an experience to be able to swim from the... More

Although this complex is housed in a very impressive modern building, the experience after all the hype and marketing was a slight let down especially as we had similar facilities at our hotel. The the main pool areas were busy and although very clean they still had a municipal feel to them. However if you are not concerned with the... More
