Great garden

Worth the entrance fee, great gardens and sightseeing spot. Castle offers great exhibitions and the original rooms of the emperor.

This place certainly deserves a good few hours to see properly. We took the private guided tour (in English) which lasts about 1.5 hours. The tour was booked in advance over the Internet. In this tour, with all the explanations (mainly about the botanical aspects of the plants in the garden) you get to see maybe only a quarter of... More

Stunningly beautiful and interesting gardens , these gardens are some of the best we have ever visited . We had a glorious day bright but not too hot and managed to spend 5 hours there just wandering around, and sitting in various spots contemplating the gorgeous views both near and far. The castle restaurant has two outdoor terraces with waiter... More

Also had the Museum of Tourism there. Beautiful and very interesting. Walking distance from our hotel (Hotel Salgart) - lots of see and a good restaurant with excellent service. An enjoyable day out.

A superb garden split into areas of the world, where the plants originated from. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the plants, their genesis and uses. The flowers were so colourful and their perfume wafted through the air. Allow a day if you like gardens, as this one needs time to take in and enjoy.

We visited this garden in May. Spent four hours walking around, just looking at all the venues and gardens. We really enjoyed it.

Be sure to take your own bottles of water with you. None sold in the park. Restuarants very crowded mid day

Beautifully kept and masterfully sculpted into the mountains. Superb views from the two viewing platforms - the large greenhouse was especially impressive as was the 'smelling station'. And dont miss out of the two fantastic museums showing the history of the development of mountain infrastructure and how tourism has grown since the second world war. Very highly recommended.
