You honestly could spend 6-8 hrs at this place!! The museum takes a small chunk of that time and is really neat but then there are the gardens, there is just so much to take in. Breathtaking nature!! I will come back and spend more time there.

A beautifully designed botanical garden in Merano. Big, spacious, extremely interesting and full of several different environments: the Woods is my favourite, with japanese woods, loads of bamboo varieties and plenty of water. Don't miss this place, it's fantastic!

The best botanical gardens I've ever been to. And I don't usually even like them. But we stayed 3.5 hours and only left because we were exhausted.

The most beautiful and elaborate gardens I have ever seen with space given over to gardens from all around the world, great viewing platforms with amazing views across the valley. You can easily spend 4/5 hours there and still not see everything. Good restaurant there as well.

Lovely gardens, a must visit, with lots to see and do. English written description on all plants. Apple strudel is well recommended in the café.

Interesting museum set in a former hotel that pretends to be a castle set in a magnificent garden. Unfortunately it was heavy raining throughout my visit, but the view and the garden are unforgettable.
