What a View

Worth it just to ride that lift unless you suffer from vertigo! And, of course, the view is worth the ride.

This is in the same building as the Mole Antonelina and you can buy joint tickets for the lift and the museum. The kids enjoyed some aspect of it (the first 2 floors) the rest is not that impressive.

I first visited the Cinema Museum 10 years ago and was impressed then; now it's even better. They've still retained the comfortable, stretch-out seats where you could spend hours watching compilations of films. I felt I could have stayed there overnight! There's even an area where you can sit on loos and watch films. Of course, there's also the glass... More

It is worth spending time at this museum, visit it, take your time and do not hurry. There is a lot to see.

14 euro gets you a ticket to the museum and a trip up and back on the glass lift to the top (actually 2/3 way up) the tower. Unless you get here very early you'll need to queue for the lift which can be a drag.. You can buy the 2 tickets seperately if you like...The museum is very quirky... More

We were very pleasantly surprised with the scope of this venue and its exhibits. A wonderful 3 hours or more can be spent here in a great building with excellent facilities. Don't miss the lift to the top lookout.

The architecture inside and out, is very interesting. There were some very good displays of old movies too. You sit on a reclining chair and can watch old moves. It is fun.

Another surprise for us was a visit to the Cinema Museum. The kids we were with thoroughly enjoyed the history of movies - several interactive exhibits to entertain them along the way. The trip up worth the wait - On the clear day were were there we could see the Alps to the north - incredible stuff
