Although we visited in November it was still worth a trip to have a walk along the river. There are attractions such as the medieval village but it was good just to sit at one of the cafes, have a coffee and plan our next assault on the tourist trail. This park provides a small oasis of peace and tranquility in this bustling city. It has a small stream running through it, is nicely laid out with flower beds and contains various kinds of trees. The stream has tiny wooden bridges which the kids found fun to run across and the gardens also have many shady spots where one can... more
