It is a nice visit well organized; but definitely overpriced; it is not worth more than 5 euro and the entrance is 12. In one hour you have seen what it has to be seen. In my opinion they are overstaffed and that may explain the price. It is not allowed to take picture.

Stupinigi palace is just a great architecture structure. It's not possible to visit it yet but just to see external part of the palace is a nice thing.

A tram and a bus will take you to the Palazzina di Caccia Stupinigi. The trip takes about one hour from the main station. In July 2012 only a small portion of the palace was open to the public including the main hall and the apartment of the duke of Chiablese. The apartment especially offers some very nice baroque interiors.... More

We did not know, so our trip there was a bit of waste, even if we did have a pleasant al fresco lunch at the local pub across the street, which had a large selection of antipasto that sold by the plate.

This area is a shambles, all by itself south of Turino. They have no audioguides or English materials to accompany your visit, and you must visit with a guide for a tour lasting about an hour and half. They offered us a French tour which would have worked but we decided to move on without seeing the interior of the... More

Due to bad management of public finance and the moving of most furniture/paintings to the recently re-opened Venaria Reale Palace, the fantastic and astonishing Stupinigi Palace has finally re-opened the doors after many years to the public again. Only one wing can be visited at the moment and visits are strictly guided only. Very good guide (Italian) with excellent knowledge,... More

Stupinigi was a wonderful short trip outside of Turin. It was worth the drive. It is breath taking in it's beauty while at the same time bittersweet & romantic in it's condition. It is in a sad state of disrepair but it's power cannot be missed. While walking through many sections you cannot miss the original wall paper and paint... More
