Anyone with a passing interest in all things Egyptian should visit this museum. The obvious stand out attractions are the large figures. One in particular whose name I have sadly forgotten looks like it has been made of polished platinum. and has a large scarab on his chest. it looks as though it could have been made yesterday by using... more

The Egyptians Museum is a total MUST! I heard it is the second Egyptian museum after the one in Cairo. The Egyptian Museum is Turin's top attraction and holds two superb mood-lighted galleries of Egyptian statues along with other galleries of artifacts. Definitely worth a visit. more

We had 4 days in Turin to look at the Egyptian artefacts in the museum and were particularly interested in seeing the collection of Papyrus scrolls.Unfortunately when we got there the whole of that floor was closed for cleaning and although we had visited the museum site baforehand, there was no mention of it at all. Disappointing. more
