Visited the Egyptian museum on the 8th August. It is open fromTuesday to Sundays. Fee was 6.50 euros and children under 18 were free. Hiring an English audioguide was 5 euros and I found it helpful, since if I recall correctly explanations next to objects are in Italian. The Egyptian Museum is Turin's top attraction and holds two superb mood-lighted galleries of Egyptian statues along with other galleries of artifacts. Definitely worth a visit. more

We had 4 days in Turin to look at the Egyptian artefacts in the museum and were particularly interested in seeing the collection of Papyrus scrolls.Unfortunately when we got there the whole of that floor was closed for cleaning and although we had visited the museum site baforehand, there was no mention of it at all.
