What a great museum. You start on the second floor, working your way down through the centuries of the automobile. You have so many cool stories, classic cars and really a great interactive explanations and signs. You need about 2 hours to do the whole thing and it's totally worth it, and I'm NOT a car freak. PS: the coffee... More

When we eventually found the museum - no signposts when you leave the metro so my advice is head for the river and it's an enormous modern grey riverside building near the hospital - we were very impressed. The history of the motor car (with an Italian focus) is presented in such a fun interesting way in a stunning space.... More

Awesome! You do not need to be crazy about cars to like this museum. It packed with cars from the beginning of their history to today. And not just cars, but also parts and design process. The exhibition is modern and interactive and suits both kids and adults. Make sure you go and allow 2,5 hours at least: they will... More

a must for any petrol head and all others besides! Great collection of Italian cars and cars from the rest of the world too! Nicely displayed in historically period settings - some unique cars! There are regular one-off exhibits so its worth-while checking their website prior to planning a visit

It has around 200 vehicles, since the very first structure that moved on Earth with steam, to the energy-moved prototypes designed in Turin. It shows the different brands, producers, designers, and have a special area for car racing. Even some strange furniture and home appliances made with car parts are in exhibition. The museum has 3 floors very well decorated.... More

Most probably the greatest collection of Fiat and other automobiles. The carefully restored examples of vintage types are exhibited in chronological and epochal order in several etages. The museum itself is an architecturally exciting building not estonishing in North Italy, the nest of contemporary design. Also very instructive show presenting the technical secrets of automobile manufacturing. A must see for... More

If you got several days in Turin, don't miss the Museum of the Automobile. It is modern and very good organized museum with very rich collection of cars of different ages, starting with first steam cars and going all the way to modern race cars. Highly recommended !!!

As a car buff, this museum strongly appealed to me but I was accompanied by two companions who were not really interested in automobiles but they also enjoyed their visit. The museum is in a modern riverside building ,only a 10/15 minute walk from the Lingotto Metro station, It is imaginatively laid out and you get a virtual social history of... We were not able to visit the museum, but had a dinner function at the musem so I am only rating the catering that was provided. The setting is very nice and can accomodate over 300 people easily. That is about it for the positives and I would have been embarrassed to be Italian with the showcase of poorly presented... More
