If you got several days in Turin, don't miss the Museum of the Automobile. It is modern and very good organized museum with very rich collection of cars of different ages, starting with first steam cars and going all the way to modern race cars. Highly recommended !!!

As a car buff, this museum strongly appealed to me but I was accompanied by two companions who were not really interested in automobiles but they also enjoyed their visit. The museum is in a modern riverside building ,only a 10/15 minute walk from the Lingotto Metro station, It is imaginatively laid out and you get a virtual social history of... We were not able to visit the museum, but had a dinner function at the musem so I am only rating the catering that was provided. The setting is very nice and can accomodate over 300 people easily. That is about it for the positives and I would have been embarrassed to be Italian with the showcase of poorly presented... More

A visit to this museum is a interesting journey through the automobile history. From the earliest carriages to the future cars. Many interesting cars, with a great history to tell. The cars were in good authentic condition, and not restored to concours standard. The only downside is the light. It was very dark, and almost impossible to take good photos... More

The Museum is in a striking new building but it is a pity that Turin does not do it justice. The city is in need of a tidy up. The museum is welcoming and staff very helpful although another person on the ticket counter would have speeded things up. Lots of cars to see with imaginative themes and displays. Good... More

If you are interested in the history of cars, or have to hours to spend watching how cars evolved to be an essential part of our lives, this is your destination. I liked my visit so much, only thing that is needed are some road signs to guide you there as it was somewhat difficult to reach.

I am crazy about cars and my wife ISN'T ...! But after visiting the Muse0 dell'Automobile, she totally changed her mind. She said, "that was one of the best museums we've ever visited!" By comparison, she LOVES movies and I am only so-so ... After visiting the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, we BOTH agreed that they needed to visit the... More
