Burlotto competed and won several international contests, including thirty-two medals from Turin, Milan & Paris, and supplied wine to Italy’s royal household and to the Duke of Abruzzi’s expedition to the North Pole in 1899. His son Francesco had a pioneering role in establishing the Pelaverga variety. « less
