But well worth the visit. After a few years of discussions and skirmishes they finally converted the room into a humidity protected area where only 25 or so people are admitted together. After having looked at the Last Supper, with a glossy layer on half of its surface, turn your back to it and you will have a great surprise,... More

Don't miss the opportunity to see this work of art. Do book early directly with vivaticket.it months in advance. This is a perfectly timed tour. 15 minutes. No less, no more. Your group enters a temperature controlled room, when your time is up, the door opens. When 15 minutes are up, you exit. Sadly, very little of the original remains... More

I very nearly missed out on tickets altogether because I didn't realise how vital it was to book in advance (unless you want to pay about 50 euros for tickets/guided tours with other companies!) I phoned the official box office via skype to avoid racking up a huge bill and managed to get tickets (8 euros each) a week and... More

Luckily we got tickets using city sight seeing milano last minute. However these were expensive at 25 euro each. It was a very lengthy experience for just 15mins in front of the painting. The buses are very unreliable. We got a taxi to avoid missing our slot. Then had to wait 30 minutes for the guide!

The booking process is the Italian way - not easy, but follow the steps. Once there you wait, get your15 minutes, and leave - but the 15 minutes are worth it. Don't miss it.

I think people always have an expectation in their minds when they go to see a famous painting or sculpture. What I had thought of as the Last Supper was not at all what I saw. The fresco, soft and fading, is extremely powerful. Even the small wait and the steps of dehumidifying leading up to the viewing give a... More

The 15 minute time window you are allocated goes by very quickly when you are sitting there in awe, not only thinking about the artist and his work, but the immensity of that moment in the history of the world that he has depicted. Simply magnificent.

You only get 15 minutes to view this fresco, so it's best to have a guide explain the finer points of what you're seeing. This made our visit to the Last Supper much more meaningful. Definitely worth a trip.

Great Piazza, extremely pretty. We visited after seeing The Last Supper by da vinci. Lots of history, parking nearby at 2 euros an hr.
