This museum is inside the Castello Sforzesco in Milan. It houses a lot of medieval and renaissance paintings, weapons, armors, statues displayed in many rooms. One of the most important pieces is the Rondanini Pieta sculpted by Michelangelo. Also don't miss the huge room ceiling painted by Leonardo.

This museum is great even for the art buffs who don't have time because in less than 30 minutes they get to see Leonardo da Vinci's Hall of Boards and Michelangelo's Pietà Rondanini. If Leonardo's tree-painted ceiling is great, Michelangelo's unfinished dead Christ is deeply inspiring. Admission charge is affordable and covers all Castle museums. Friday afternoon free admittance for... More

Great museum and a visit to Milan wouldn't be the same without going here. Would recommend.
