This is a museum that houses paintings of the last 5 centuries. The first rooms have older religious painting, the others have mixed religious and non religious. There are paintings of some of the most important Italian painters: Tiepolo, Canaletto (beautiful Venice views), Lorenzo Lotto, Tintoretto, etc. Many are donations received during the last centuriy. Nothing remarkable in this museum other than at the very end. The museum of ancient art starts just beyond the ticket counter. There are several very complex and interesting pieces of furniture especially for the time in which they were made. nice museum good explanation, unfortunately not all in english you can have an audioguide in 4 languages that give you a good overview

An impressive collection of masterpieces mostly of Italian Renaissance for a very affordable price. Not crowded but definitely worth it.
