Saturday's crowded-overcrowded with buyers looking for inexpensive- new- day to day items. Small kitchen goods and clothing/shoes/leather/linens. Food at rock bottom prices. If you are looking for Milan's top designers, this isn't it. If you are looking for a no name cashmere sweatre under 10 euros, you'll be in heaven! Parking is difficult but is always this way on market... More

Aside of nice market for fruits and vegetable on Tuesdays and Saturdays in the middle of the street it is formed market with goods of questionable quality. Here and there you can found some quality stuff but not from any famous brands. Definitely this is not the place for shopping quality clothing at low prices. The option of purchasing cheap... More

I went to the Papiniano Market expecting a real flea market with second hand and antique stuff. When I arrived there I found (to my dismay) that it was mostly just any typical european market selling factory stock, wrongly produced and fake (brand) clothes. It did have a large section of fruits and vegetables, that was nice, but the clothing... More

The market takes place on Saturday. You can find good bargain for fruit and vegetables or other types of food. It used to be better for clothes and shoes shopping.

I stayed at AC Milano hotel and the hotel is just in front of Subway passage. So, I tried the green subway from Garibaldi station and took off at St. Augustinian station ( 5 stations). When you came up , the market is just right in front of you . The trick is the food market is perpendicular to the... More

My family greatly enjoyed getting out of the tourist areas of Italy and seeing how the Italians really live. This is the place for that. Go for the experience and see how they buy their fresh fish, fruits, salamis and vegetables for their week. We picked up some cheap scarves as souvenirs. Would visit again.

A place worth visiting but in my opinion not really for bargain shopping - rather for the experience itself. There are liitle tourists here, mostly locals going for grocery shopping. The grocery part offers great, fresh local food for reasonable price - we bought our share of cheeses and salami there and were.
