Great place to hang out, eat and drink. Very arty and trendy. I love this area and we returned to it again and again on our visit. Cafe Verdi is worth it for a mooch and coffee, there are several other bars, one of which I cannot recall the name of, we only went in for a glass of wine,... More

To walk in the Brera area felt like being in the artists area of the city. There were a lot of restaurants offering diner and aperitivo (free food for customers who buy about 10 euros worth of drinks), the library is very pretty but a bit hidden in a large building. The market is particularly nice to find clothes and... More

We visited Brera on a Sunday so there was nothing open apart from coffee shops, but it still made for a lovely couple of hours. It's a very pretty part of the city and the Brera gallery is supposed to be wonderful. We also passed the Brera libraray which looked very impressive and worth going in just for the architecture. Once the artists' district, Brera is now one of Milan's chicest areas to live and shop. There are great boutiques, restaurants and pubs and wine bars. It still houses many of Milan's prestigious art galleries, fashion showrooms and the Brera Belle Arte Academy and Pinacoteca di Brera art museum. There are also some of the old canals and winding cobblestone... More

You can go to brera for shopping, or for dinner (there are a zillion restaurants) or just for a walk (better after 9 pm), or for a drink (if under 25 check Bar Radezky, corso Garibaldi). Lots of choices, lots of people, and a feel for the real Milan. More

Not quite the nightlife of the Navigli District, but worth a walk up Brera, a look in some of the Art Shops/Galleries, some tasty snacks in the bakeries and brief stop at the top of Brera for a glass of Vino and a snack in one of the many outside bars/cafes. Arty and stylish like its Alfa Romeo namesake. More

The centre for night life in Milan. Cute district with lots pf nice restaurants and music bars. Musicians, authors, painters - all frequent this area giving it a Bohemian, cosmopolitan atmosphere. More
