no one can replace such a beautiful square, a lot of shopping around and you can visit the Duomo and as well go up and see the outside path around the cathedral.

Impressive Cathedral with fairytale-like statues everywhere. It overwhelms to piazza and you have to stand far back to get a full picture. Always busy around it but not long to wait to enter or tour the roof top.

We only had a few hours in Milan, but walked to Duomo Square from Main train station. It was about a 35 minute walk but we saw many shops, etc along the way. Church is impressive too. Square had lots of activity, it was a beautiful, sunny day while we were there. We were told it had rained for the...

Useful place to ask taxi drivers to take you to, as it is the hub of central Milan. Great view of the Duomo (cathedral) and short walk to shops, la Scala etc.

Go into the fabulous church then go across the square and have a drink at one of the outside cafe's and enjoy the people watching

I wanted to stop and enjoy being in the Piazza as it was one of the largest we saw in Italy but with every step you took there was someone trying to "give" you a "free" bracelet. I know nothing in life is actually free. They had some kind of scam going, I just never stopped long enough to figure...
