It was a beautiful experience for me. Beautiful architecture of Duomo, gleaming in the sunshine, the big circle surrounding it, the shopping places around; the cheerful crowd, all made our visit memorable! Even now, when I watch the photos we took, it still gives me the warmth I felt when we were there!
Duomo Square is the place to visit in Milano. As soon as I emerged from the Metro, I was awed by the massive Duomo itself. The square is buzzing with people, cameras snapping everywhere. I grabbed a cappuccino at an umbrella-covered table while I waiting for a colleague. The Galleria is also on the square, and the Scalla is just...

One of the main tourist attractions and great view of the cathedral but obviously gets very busy at peak times. Avoid eating in any of the cafes and restaurants overlooking it as they are a complete rip off. We paid €18 for two soft drinks and two small cakes.
The Duomo is amazing. One of the biggest cathedrals in the world. Unfortunately as a tourist you wil be hassled by men trying to sell you rubbish or force you to feed grain to the pigeons, which is illegal, all while the police look on uninterested. They are too busy smoking or checking the ladies out.
The exterior of the Duomo dominates the piazza and that along with the beautiful Victor Emmanuel 2 arcade make this a major gathering place for both Milanese and visitors.
The duomo is i think he most beautiful building in Milan. The square is a lovely place with eateries and shopping around it. There were also many pigeons around. One cannot visit Milano without visiting the CENTRE Of this great cit, just visit and enjoy piazza Duomo is there and no one can miss, it is a must visit in life..
The Church is so beautiful. The square is the happening place. Even with the winters the kiosks nearby add to the charm. The oldest shopping mall and loads of people. At night everything just glows into a big celebration.
there are great gelato places all around the square, a wonderful gallery (saw Andy Warhol exhibition) and just a good viewpoint to sit and watch the world go past, with their dogs, girlfriends in short skirts and high heels, and the old Italian married couples! Loved it!
