A tranquil amaze square which recalls on how architecture was well planned; specifically when the project was up and running. Something brings us to reflect the power of inspiration, belief and talent which are well blend. A maginifique piece to be regretfully to be skipped.

Duomo Square should be a real treat but sadly the local authorities are allowing the tourist experience be ruined by scam artists who will try all manner of tricks to get you to part with money, some with underlying menaces. The scam of the moment whilst we were there is to offer a little piece of string as a friendship... More

Be aware of your surroundings. There are lots of vendors; most of them harmless but some can be aggressive. Best to be with a buddy while you are taking the many pictures of the Duomo,

People are very negative about this square!! It's just a spot where many tourists and locals gather, and obviously with it come the people trying to make a few quid. After being asked about 20 times, i opted to buy a 'waka waka band for Africa' from one of the guys for a euro, and it was well worth it!!... More

When exiting the metro be careful of the people hanging around trying to sell you stuff. They say its free but obviously its not free, as i waved one person away he planted some kind of bracelet on wrist in which i proceeded to throw off my wrist to his disgust. Keep walking and ignore. I feel these kind of... More

It is okay without the crowd. The good thing about it is it's next to The Duomo. It's not like you are going out of your way to see it. There are so many people selling all sorts from selfie sticks, corn for the pigeons and wrist bracelets. You must be vigilant as pick pockets are observing and looking for... More

Well, it's a must do, but expect loads of people selling selfies ticks and so on. Lots of tourists ofcourse at these places. Also check the great old glass covered shopping centre. Entrance at the square.

The square is a square outside the Duomo. One can't help but visit it if one is visiting the Duomo and that is about what it is worth. As it happened, we were there when the Cardinal was addressing what appeared to be a large group of schoolchildren so having experienced Catholic schools week in the US, it was interesting... More
