Just like the pictures you've seen, not as beautiful as Piazza San Marco and not really any place to sit and people watch. You'll have to go into the Galleria Emmanuel Vittoria to do that.

The black people aka Africans will ambush you and tie the band on your wrist and demanded money from you claiming you bought it from him. These useless band costs like euro10-50.

The Duomo in Milan is breathtaking. The square is impressive and there are a lot of restaurants and designer shops (great for window shopping only if you are on a budget) nearby. There are always a ton of people in the square and pigeons everywhere. Beware of panhandlers and pickpockets. As I was standing there admiring the beauty of the... More

The square is impressive, with the Duomo and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, but way too crowded at all times: you can't really stay and admire such beauties, since you would be distracted by someone trying to sell you something or just pushing you by mistake. The square is surrounded by shops and restaurants (even a McDonald).

The square itself and the cathedral don't need to be described. They are great. It's a pleasure just to look at them. But the atmosphere even more pleasant. Beeing there, walking among other people, you just enjoy it. Actually I couldn't think of anything serious, like my job or life back at home. You can hear music, watch other happy... More

Very nice. Many tourists. Nice view of duomo and Vittorio Emmannuelle II shopping. Many pigeons and a large statue. Got some very cute pics of our little one chasing pigeons and got to feed pigeons. Nice area to stroll.

We arrived and it was raining, soon the sun came out and so did the people. What a glorious site. We enjoyed the Duomo, the shopping center close by and the sculpture in the square.

We visited the Square on a hot, June evening and the cathedral looked stunning. We wondered past the designer shops and lingered with ice cream outside before the thunderstorm struck. Slight downside was the work taking place in the square but still had great views. We avoided the walk among the spires only because the storm was clearly approaching. Watch... More
