Duomo Square

Most lively part of Milan. It has super connectivity to all other places. The cathedral is a treat to the eyes. The Galleria and boutiques around have great shopping!

No place to sit, no place for gathering, expensive and disgusting bars. too many tourist. too hot in summer because of the concrete underneath your feet. Strongly advised to visit at night after 22 pm. then is fascinating!

It's a square you go to in order to visit or see the Duomo or to enter the Galleria. Is there much other reason to go there? Maybe to catch the metro, buy trinkets or deal with pickpockets. It's a tourist-dominated city square, but it's still pretty and a necessary stop because of the Duomo.

Great for people watching and enjoying the area. Keep an eye out for pickpockets. The vendors aren't overly pushy; they usually back away after one "no." The gelatería across the street, facing the cathedral, is delicious, with many unique flavors.

Duomo Square is a huge crowded slab of concrete in front of the Duomo. There are 7 metro entrance/exits visible from the center of the square, not to mention a taxi lane and bus stops. This square is not where you go to get a taste of Milan, but rather where tourists go on their way to the Duomo, shopping,... More

It is a typical square with people trying to sell you stuff, tourists taking selfies, guided walking tours walking around, etc. It's nice to just sit on a sunny afternoon and watch people.

The hearth of the city, lots of shopping, from ultra glamorous to nic and affordable. Beautiful square, amazing cathedral, and lots and lots of things to do in the area.

Beautiful to look at and pleasurable to walk around Duomo is amazing. A wonder or art. Lots of tourists and yes selfie sticks are everywhere but there's lots of places to take a seat and watch the world go by

It is a big square in front of the Cathedral and also the Vittorio Emanuelle at one side. The Square is to walk to the other attractions, but is not to enjoy by itself, because there are many people walking, so there are not where to seat or tables to eat there like in other italian smaller cities.

beautiful location where people seem to gather and travelers pass through intent to view the splendors of Dommo Cathedral. It is also the home of hundreds of. Selfie-stick and friendship bracelette hawkers. Selfie dudes are short Mediterranean types but are harmless. Friendship dudes are larger men who use their size and quick talk to hold those of lesser size hostage... More
