Duomo square is beautiful! Ancient history blends easily with modern society in a relaxed inviting atmosphere. Plenty of shops that range from $ to $$$... There is something for everyone! A must do when visiting Milan!

unless you fall in love with the Duomo facade. On saturday and Sundays it's plenty of housemaids and their families or school tenagers. But you have to cross it if heading to the nearby Rinascente or to the Galleria that takes you towards the Scala (opera house) square. Usually, trade union and political demontrations ends here. remembre: pidgeons should not... More

The touts are out in full force too, with the pigeon men and the band sellers looking out for vulnerable tourists. Be on your... More

The place itself is lovely and you can sit and relax for one or two hours and you will not get bored. The cathedral itself is beautiful and elegant. You can also visit the... More

This is a great place to sit and watch people walk by. The only downfall is the men that try to sell you something. Nice to sit on the steps and have a sandwich. Enjoyed walking around and visiting the Duomo and shops.

Wandered around the Duomo square for the day. Lots to see and do in this area. As you can imagine, the Duomo itself is very impressive. If you go to Milan you have to go here.
