this street was OK for me, it is a street where one can find high-standard shops and boutiques, we strolled, admired the good exposed in these elegant shops, then not much.

The name brands are all here and a few I had never heard of. Nonetheless this is the street where fashion shopping lives. Shoes, Dresses and yes mens fashion, exquisite mens fashion. Walk here if you dare, To leave this street without maxing out your credit card...well good luck!

This may be one of the world's top fashion designer/retail streets but aesthetically it can't compare with 5th Ave., Rodeo Dr., Paris' fashionable retail avenues etc. No doubt every high end Italian designer is located here BUT .... Great for people watching though!!!

This is the Rodeo Drive or 5th Ave of Milan. You can find all the luxury brands with their flagship stores down this stretch. It's the main drag if you are a major brand that wants to show off their latest collections. There are amazing cafe's as expected in Italy and they are packed with locals.

If you are a shopping aficionado, your trip to Milan is not complete without a stroll in via Monte Napoleone. Fashion, luxury goods, leather items, jewelry...all is there. Without naming any, all the big brands are there and it's a pleasure for the eye, but maybe a sore to your budget. You may find what you are shopping for in... More

Not much interest in fashion, but the street is such a concentration of global fashion names it worth at 10 minute walk or more of window shopping. You will be amazed at the latest designs and the showcase of fashion names you may never have heard of. This is one of the top 5 things to do in Milan and... More

This is where you can find some top designer shops. The street is pedestrian and nice old houses, however I miss the energy, this is all about money. Ok to walk through, it's in the city center.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
