When touring Italy, there are many places for adults to enjoy but not as many for children. Villa Pallavicino has something for everyone. An amazing petting zoo with llamas, deer, goats, a donkey and a few others. My kids were able to be up close and personal with the animals, run around in the playground and appreciate the beautiful pristine... More

We visited on one of the hottest day's of the year. Worth going early to take advantage of the shade. The rose garden is fantastic but this obviously depends on the time of year. The enclosure with the goats, llamas and sheep is a really great visit with kids. Sad to see some of the birds and the solitary racoon... More

The park is beautiful and well worth a visit even during hotter periods, since the trees give nice shade. Very few signposts to guide you around, the only ones show you the way to places to spend your money. In the spring it must be very beautiful when the flower garderns are on full bloom. I do not care that... More

Good value for money, allows you to interact with some of the animals, gardens not as stunning as villa Taranto.

Walked uphill saw very little until after the restaurant at the top when we saw birds. prior to stopping at the restaurant we saw peacocks in a garden, no signposts to guide us . we saw goats reindeer zebras. not a big selection of animals however they all seemed to have plenty of space ,looked clean and healthy.

We only visited this because it was our last day and we had booked out of the hotel room and were trying to kill time. It was a disappointing visit. Some animal areas had signs in English and French as well as Italian, while others only had Italian signs and others had no indication of what the creature was at... More

You can spend a lovely afternoon discovering the many diferent gardens within this Villa, as well as the buildings (some are closed and used as storage, but other have lovely tea houses and souvenir shops) and the park itself.

A magnificent lakeside garden. The villa is private so you can't see the house. We have always been in April when the tulips, rhododendrons, azaleas and japonicas are magnificent. There might not be so much to see in mid-summer. There is also a zoo, but a fairly small one and probably mainly to give the kids something to look at.

We were aware that there was a zoo in Stresa but if we hadn't found it by chance one morning would have struggled to find it as it isn't that well signposted. The park is bigger than appears at first and with the well laid out gardens there is plenty to see but perhaps a little difficult for anyone with... More

We visited the park in May, there was an impressive display of rhododendrons, and a few roses but there was a lack of colour in the rest of the garden - we were just 2 or 3 weeks too early. There was an interesting & varied collection of animals and birds to see. We were concerned at the lack of... More
