A great way to spend a few hours even though it was the off season with a lot of flowers and shrubs not in best shape. Partly a zoo with a small variety of animals in open areas not cages.

Spent half a day here looking round the gardens and at the animals. It was good to get in among the deer and friendly goats but some of the animals that were listed didn't seem to be there. Some parts of the park are quite hilly but the gardens are fairly flat so a good place for a rest and... More

We spent the day here with our two small children at the end of October. It was just wonderful. There are plenty of animals pretty much roaming free, goats, sheep, deer. There are also other animals to spot which you can't get as close to, zebras, flamigos and llamas. The gardens are lovely as well and have peacocks roaming free.... More

This is truly a beautiful place to visit and the gardens were absolutely breathtaking. If you are a camera buff, you will be taking one photo after another and still want to take more.

Beautiful botanical gardens in a forest setting. The animals are an added addition to the park. Walked with the goats, sheep, deer and the peacocks. Never expected to see a zebra or a white skunk. Great place to visit and within walking distance of Stresa boat docks.

We spent a morning here with three children 2, 3 & 5. Everyone had a great time. Enjoyed the petting area most of all.

Off season a bit of a walk out of town. There a roadtrain in season. However the grounds are wonderful as it is a country estate with zoo animals; well llamas dear and wonderful birds. Could have been a bit run down but it wasn't. Would appeal to both children and adults. Do go but beware then site is very... More

When we were recommended to visit this garden we thought it was just another park, but it is actually a remarkable landmark; I cannot still figure out how they manage to keep the garden, the woods, the animals with such great care; there are centennial trees, huge fruit trees, flowers, and all is in perfect conditions; not a withered petal...
