The public service boat offers an exclusive service for the Borromean Islands and all the places of interest that lean out on the banks of the Lake Maggiore, been born for satisfying the demands of whom loves to travel in liberty, it makes various boats to be able to satisfy the demands of the single one as those of groups, parties or schools available. We rent motorboats to visit the fascinating Lake Maggiore.

Great experience. Big boats circulate around the islands, stop at each of them.Unless you are a big group of people do not accept the offers of the small boats (taxis) and walk inside the port gate and purchase tickets for the ferries. Several options, the greatest experience is the panorama trip to Lugano in Switzerland on hoover craft or slower... More

The connections are very good to all islands and to towns along the shore but they are rather expensive for a long stay and unfortunately the last boats are early evening. there is other transportation but it a bit more expensive.

We bought our tickets at the Ferry Station. We purchased the Rover Tickets (Libera Circolazione) which is unlimited travel for one day between the islands and at the same time also purchased the entrances to the Villas and Gardens on Isola Bella & Isola Madre. We qualify for Sr. Discount and the lady cheerfully gave us the discount. We paid... More

This is a must do for adults when in Stresa. We were a group of four adults and did all three islands in the day, although it was 15,000 steps on our Fitbits! We were early enough that Isola Bella was not too crowded, perhaps because it was a Sunday. Isola Bella was an over the top wonder, although tour... More

The best way to travel around the lake. The schedule is timely and the staff makes sure everyone boards safely. Used at least 25 times always good.

Its not easy getting though all the private boat owners, nicely dressed as captains, trying to convince you that they are providing the same service as Navigazione Sulle....but DO pass them by and head straight for the official booking office just to the left side of the tourist board. The ferry service is on time, reliable and the best option... More

We used this public service extensively as it really is the best way to visit all the attractions around the Lake and found pricing reasonable when compared to public transport costs in Ireland(same goes for Rail tickets). Timetables are easy to follow and there is a quick turnaround time for boats, so should you want to move on from one... More

We used this a few times to return from Switzerland and to visit the islands on the lake. We liked that it was easy to use and timetables easy to understand. Nothing to dislike.

We went on Sunday 1st September 2013 from Turin by using the tourist bus Turin-Lago Maggiore that works on a Sunday. We went down at Stresa and we used the tragghetto[big ship] because one has to be careful where to book. A young guy approached us and said that we were booking the public tragghetto but no it was a small... More
