God they cram em in it reminded me of Japan's railways. It's a horrible ride just a noise of people trying to talk over everybody else. It's swings like its gonna break. I had to change my underwear afterwards. View from top ok botanical garden ok but €4 each the ponds in the garden only had mozzies in em. Uncomfortable... More

Great views from the summit but check the weather forecast before you go. Take a sweater too. The temperature can be much less at altitude.

We spent a couple of hours on this excursion, we enjoyed doing something different, not the clearest day but we still enjoyed the views, but it would of been spectacular on a clear day. It could do with a little TLC and the top is really uneven so wear good shoes and take a jumper. The chair lift at the... More

We chose a bad day to take cable car as the higher level was closed for servicing and the chairlift was not operating for whatever reason. Therefore, the price of the trip seemed p oor value for money . There was an alpine garden that was pay to enter .the view from first level was okay but weather was misty and... More

A good trip up. Fab views at the top and a nice little restaurant to have coffee or lunch. Be aware that the cable car stops for 1 1/2 hours for lunch and the first trip back down is hideously busy. Time it better than we did!

The ride to the top is divided in two stages - the first one is the cable car and the second is the chair lift. We rode on a very clear day and the views were incredible and they cover several lakes in the region. During the summer you can really appreciate the smell of flora. Wearing a comfortable pair... I took the Mottarone Cable Car with my boyfriend, and it was an amazing experience. The view is spectacular. On bright days you can see all the way to Malpensa airport and Milan, and even Switzerland. The ride felt quite safe, and even though it "wobbles" slightly when crossing "junctions", it's not a scary ride. We paid €19 each, so... More

Unfortunately it didn't clear up on the way to the top, we knew it was overcast and it had cleared a bit, then the fog came back in. Prior to that, the view was lovely. The standard price to ride is €20 per person. We negotiated a rate of €15 per person as a group rate because there was 6... More

Worth the trip. Be warned. The cable car stops running for lunch (typical Italian) from about 12 to 1 and you are stuck on top. Ride the "Alpine Coaster" on top of the mountain. It's a blast!!

Very disappointing trip and very little at the top. Restaurant was very basic too - expensive at 20euros per person and the staff were very rude when asked about return times
