We had friends in from the States and decided to try and do 7 countries in 6 days with Switzerland as out home base. One day was spent in the Lake Como area and it was beautiful. We had a coffee in the piazza by the Dome, enjoyed the weather and my favorite...people watching.

Como is a great place to take a holiday the Lake is just fantastic but (Duomo) is a must see. We had nine great days here and cant wait to go back. The boat trip around lake Como was just fantastic and we thought it was a must do if you visit Como.

Como is a baeutiful town located in the southern part of lake Como. The Duomo is located in the central piazza of this lovely town and is a very impressive beautiful cathedral. It is worthwhile the visit eventhough the town's main attraction is the lake.
