The Duomo was impressive and a must see for those visiting Como. The works of art and the architecture is also worthwhile to see. It is easily accessible in the centre of Como overlooking the piazza.

It's a beautiful, small cathedral located in a very picturesque square. Statues of Pliny the Elder and Pliny the Younger bookend the entrance. An interesting feature is the sundial located part way up the wall on the south side.

Perhaps the main landmark of Como City . You can but admire the sculpture work on the Cathedrals walls and the sheer impression the building has on the visitor

Just a shortwalk down once u reach the train station of "como s giovanni" once exit just walk straight 10mins and you cant miss this huge Cathedral. Even though i just visited Duomo in Milan, these has its own uniqueness and attractiveness as once i went inside the feeling is so much cleaner peaceful and Harmony in a way !... More

We visited this cathedral in Como Town on a bright sunny day in early November. You get to the Duomo quiet easily as it is part of the pedestrianised area of the town. It is very impressive from the outside of grand proportions and not quite in keeping with its surroundings. Looks perhaps too big for Como, and seems more... More

Worth seeing and visiting if in Como. Surroundings near the Cathedral are really nice as well. Small walking streets, people strolling there and really nice small shops and fine boutiques, cafes and restaurants near by. Heart of the city.

Italy is know for it's beautiful cathedrals and the Duomo in Como is no exception. It is located on the main square and we ate dinner at one of the cafes there which allowed us to watch the Duomo change with the fading daylight and finally spot lights; really a lovely experience. Of course the inside of the Duomo.
