We travelled from Como to Bellagio and bought the hop-on-hop off ticket. This is definitely the best value as you can do as you please without any extra cost. The views are stunning and it is a must do activity whilst you are in Como. Bellagio was nice but we found it very commercialised and busy.. We stopped in Lenno... More

The ferry is the best way to tour Lake Como - some people choose to take the hydrofoil but that's no fun if you really want to enjoy the sites along the way. A day pass cost €25.80 at the time of this review. The schedule is pretty easy to understand. The ferries start running around 07:30 from Como City... More

We took the fast ride up the lake to Bellagio, I think it only stops twice. Large windows on the 2nd floor, open views below. It was so enjoyable just to see the villas on the shore of the lake and a few castles and palaces along the way. Lake Como is beautiful! This is definitely the way to travel... More

I bought the day ticket for these ferries around the lake Como. They also offer an hour ticket but it took me almost 1.5h to get to Varenna (one of the last stops of the tour) so i suggest getting the daily ticket. It is definitely the most beautiful and convenient way to move around this huge lake. You get... More

We used the ferries to cross the lake from our hotel in Tremezzo to other resorts. The timetable is widely available and tickets are available at all boat stations. If you are 65+ you can get a discount in the week and the central lake day ticket at 15 euro or 12euro for over 65s is very good value. I... More

This service links many villages around Como. The service includes ferries that take both passengers and also cars. The schedule is available in most hotels. One thing I found was that, even if you cannot find a direct connection, you could connect through another village that offers better connectivity. The boats are cheap and convenient and saves you hours of... More

There is a timetable for the boats. They are most frequent between the villages from Torno to Como and back. We went to Bellagio on the larger boat, it takes 2 hours, but it is a lovely journey gazing out at the scenery, and villas at the side of the lake.

The ferry (either passenger or car ferry) is a very easy way to visit many of the lakeside towns. Schedules are available online or you can pick up a brochure at a ferry terminal stop. I would check out the schedule beforehand as the ferry doesn't run as often at certain times of day. Boats seemed to run on time... More
