Nice view and worth if you're there already. Take your time and it can be crowded. That mean the queue is very long and you must wait quite some time. The view is not so spectacular but nice.

Great finicular, very close to the train and bus station in como. Not expensive and gets you up to some excellent views of the lake area around como - worth going up to the lighthouse for the views. There is a shuttle vehicle (small cost) that starts not far above the funicular stop that will save you walking.

It was well-worth the time (about 3 hours total for us) and the expense (cheap) to take this funicular to Brunate on the mountainside overlooking Lake Como. It was cold and a little breezy on the March day we visited. And, Brunate was pretty dead the day we went (Sunday). But, the primary reason to take this funicular ride is... More

The funicular ride from Como to Brunate takes about 8-10 minutes each way and a rountrip ticket is 5.50euros per person. It is a fun ride and once you get to the top the view is magnificent but other than that there isn't much to do in Brunate. There is a nice cafe right outside the station with a great... More

This Funicular is worth the money as the views from the top are very pretty. You will get the most of it if the weather is clear and your party is not tired, as you can walk Brunate and visit all the main attractions, including the lighthouse.

Neat way to get up to the base of the ski area. I don't remember what it cost, but it was very reasonable. From the main area of Innsbruck, across the river, past the zoo and on to the base area. I think it would've been really neat to ride in the front car going down, but others in my... More

We travelled on the funicular as part of a day trip in como. Really worth the reasonable fare as views were stunning and there were nice little cafés where we enjoyed a drink looking out over the lake and the Alps beyond. Would recommend.

Climbing up the mountainside at an amazing angle to the top made for an interesting ride! The fare was 5.20 euros for round-trip. Since it was off-season and somewhat cool, it was not crowded. We arrived in time to enjoy a prosecco spritzer and the glorious sunset overlooking Lake Como. Afterwards a terrific dinner and back down the mountain. Unforgettable!

The ride takes about 10 minutes, the trip is nice, the price is fair but I wasn't impressed at all. I was in between this and Bellagio. I did both is one afternoon. I arrived late at Bellagio and couldn't see very much but at least I caught the sunset which was amazing. If I knew that the trip to Brunate... More
