A nice day to relax our travelling family

This was a nice day spent relaxing after traveling and touring in the July heat. The pool was great, clean and well maintained. I had researched ahead and packed the swim caps so... read more

It’s a neo classical villa in Como. There’s a beach(from which you can swim into the lake), two private pools and a beach bar. It’s primarily a place to bask in the sun and it’s closed during the winter months. We went to visit it but it was closed (in November!) My friend in Como recommends this place to relax... More

One of the two public swimming pools and lidos in Como Centro. Great family fun for the day. They have a snack bar and two pools with lifeguards. This is where my daughter learned how to swim. Highly recommended for families in the summer when staying in Como Center in the summer months.

First stop in Como! Arrived by train from Milano and walked the few steps into town. Undeterred from all the bad reviews, we made our way up to the lake and headed directly for Lido Villa Olmo. We wanted to swim in the lake which is allowed here (higher up, in Cernobbio, swimming in the lake is not permitted). Of... More

This was a nice day spent relaxing after traveling and touring in the July heat. The pool was great, clean and well maintained. I had researched ahead and packed the swim caps so we were ready, and we rented beach towels easily. Lunch was nice and very moderately priced at the on site snack restaurant. We did not eat at... Went there on a Monday at noon. Hardly anyone there, so we had our pick of sunbeds and umbrellas (these are extra). Pools were clean, albeit looking a bit worn (as did the whole place, really). We didn't mind since we felt we almost had it to ourselves the first few hours. There is a strict swimming-cap rule, but you... More

Very hot and humid during our time in Como, so our family of three visited the local public swimming pool and beach. Nice pool. Very nice folks who work at the pool. Swim caps are required for all swimmers, but are sold at the snack bar, which makes a great margarita, by the way. Good pizza and sandwiches at the... More

Popped down for a few hours in the afternoon with my husband for a cool off after exploring Como. Very busy in the pool so would recommend going down to the beach part nearer the lake. Chairs, beds, umbrellas and lockers can all be rented for a few.

The gardens surrounding are beautiful and well manicured! The actual mansion is regal and stands out amongst the trees! The beach area has deck chairs and there is also a grass section for one to sun tan and two inviting pools. Then there is a beach bar which has awesome views over the lake and serves great food! For us... More

I was expecting a lot more Villa and less local exhibition. The grounds were like a public park. Pretty disappointing all around

In the hot summer days this place is especially inviting for catching some sun on the lawn or the small sandy beach, with a swim in the pool to refresh. The entrance is close to the northern entrance to the Villa Olmo park; the bar is also accessible from the park. Pity that one cannot take a swim in the... More
