Lovely building and garden but felt it wasnt made the most of. We only got into the building because There was an urban art exhibition inside which only succeeded in hiding the beautiful interiors.

We arrived at around 3:30PM - we were asked for Euro 7 each to have a look. If you go there, plan for a full day at the beach

The beach bar is a little walk from como and served a welcome glass of great wine and olives/crisps/peanuts. We sat in some great chill out seats but behind us was a football machine which did ruin the atmosphere somewhat. The pools looked great, would definitely return/recommend.

From the lake it looks amazing with it's manicured gardens and fountain. The lake side bar charming very helpful young couple running it. Then walk round to the rear of the villa. What a great shame parts of it falling apart, rotten wood, louvers hanging off windows, in dire need of restoration!!!

Inside the grounds of Villa Olmo is a small but safe swimming pool, ideal for children. alongside the pool is a good bar, serving all kinds of drinks and food. prices here are better than inn the villa itself, and again, a great view of the lake.

The lido is a great walk with beautiful views. We walked from the Como Waterfront all the way to Villa Olmo (not terribly far). We didn't care for Villa Olmo as they had some show inside and it hid the beauty of the Villa.

We went there a few times as is very close to the city center. The swimming pool is not huge but there is also a smaller one for children. Paying the entrance fee (7€, not so cheap) you can lay down with your towel on a quite big lawn. With an extra (3-5€) you can rent beachchairs/umbrellas. There is also... More
