Second visit after 5 years, still very well presented, and in a wonderful location. Age of the gardens is unreal. One thing not to miss in Bellagio.

The Villa Melzi grounds are worth visiting if you are in Bellagio. It is a nicely designed and maintained garden with excellent lakeside views. I do not think I would make a trip to Bellagio only to see this but it's worthwhile if you are already in the area.

You really got a feeling of living in luxury on Lake Como. The grounds are amazing. And it makes for a great morning walk.

We returned to these gardens after more than a year and were not disappointed. They are so very lovely with lots if places to sit and take in the gardens and the views. There is an area with a large pond and lots of Japanese maples which is quite stunning. These gardens are one of the best in Lake Como.... More

Really lovely gardens, easy to while away a few hours - except you are not allowed on the grass!! People did sit on the grass between the tree walkway and the lake though.

Beautiful location with longish lakeside walk at 2 levels but best visited in May when Azalia's and other trees and shrubs in bloom and on a warm day since there is plenty of shade and seats. Unfortunately no cafe within grounds.

Lovely peaceful gardens to walk thro. Didn't have time to go around the house. Didn't dislike anything about the place. Very convenient to walk from centre of Bellagio.

Maybe I'm jaded from seeing several fantastic gardens on Lake Maggiore last week, but this "garden" doesn't even compare. The views are no different than if you walked up the hill in town without paying 6.50. The villa isn't open so the fee is only for the grounds. There are some nice trees and they are helpfully labeled but there... More

Relative to most lakes in Europe the view that you get from the gardens is great, and certainly great for lazy Sunday strolling. However, relative to pther views that you can have from other villas on Como - nothing special.

Worth a visit. Take a picnic with some local produce before you go in as there are many beautiful spots to sit and eat. The gardens are beautifully maintained.
