This villa is reached by a pleasant short walk from the Bellagio ferry stop along the shore. The house is not open for visitors. The gardens are meticulously cared for and every prospect pleases. There are many beautiful specimen plants--we especially enjoyed seeing the American redwoods! The garden is not as focused on flowers as in some other villa gardens.... More

A definite "must do" when visiting Bellagio. The gardens are so beautiful with lots of different areas of plantings and lots of shady spots from which to enjoy the incredible lake views. We also enjoyed visiting the chapel in the gardens with its magnificent plaster ceilings and unusual statue of Christ. Take time just to sit and enjoy the beautiful... More

If you are a garden lover and want to escape the hubbub of central Bellagio this is the place to go. The lakeside location adds greatly to the experience of the garden

We visited on a Monday, the house was closed. We didn't get a tour guide, however we passed a very pleasant two hours wandering around these extensive gardens and enjoyed a coffee looking out on to the lake

I wish that we could have seen the house. However, the views from the garden were lovely. We did not learn much about the horticulture, more about the history of the property. The local tour guide was very sweet. This was not a strenuous walk although it was a bit hilly.

Perhaps not spectacular, but certainly worth an hour or two. Don't just race through ... slow down and enjoy the beauty, peace and tranquility. Cost was 6.50 Euros for a "one-day pass". Consider the two-day pass if walking regularly between Bellagio and San Giovanni.

These gardens are a delight. Walk along the lake edge first, and then up and back through the higher paths. The landscaping is exquisite. We went in summer and it was gorgeous, but in spring, when the azaleas and rhododendrons are flowering it must be breathtaking, Take a bottle of water so you can stay awhile and enjoy the views.

Lovely, peaceful, superbly well kept gardens. It was a nice walk of only about 5 minutes along the edge of the lake from the ferry port at Bellagio to get there. Not very expensive for adults and the kids were free. Good for an hour or two just to wander along the edge of the lake and take it all... More

It was a nice garden but a little pricey for 45 minutes walking the garden. Only a few flowers were blooming this season. The gardens are very well kept. The villa is not open.

The Villa is a 15 minute walk out of the town but well worth it. The gardens are lovely and the views across the lake exceptional. Get a hand stamp at the far gate so that you can re-enter when you go to explore part of the pilgrim route and old houses outside the gates. The wedding gondola pulled up... More
