Don'f expect same grandeur as Villa Carlotta's or Villa Balbianello's: Villa Serbelloni gardens are more about great views over Bellagio and the lake. Quite a nice and at times uphill walk for about 1h30min of a guided tour. Definitely worth visiting if you have some time to spend in Bellagio, however of you are short of time, you may prefer... The Gardens of Villa Serbelloni in Ballagio give a lovely views of lake Como on both sides. There is no colour, lots & lots of trees and paths that seem to always go upwards, suitable for hill walkers and people who like the history of the Vllla. If you like walking hills and very good views it is for you.... More

For most visitors, the only way to visit the Villa Serbelloni grounds is through 90 minute guided tour. These tours depart twice a day from the tourist office in back of the square with the church tower. The tours seem to fill up, so I would not wait to buy tickets last minute if you are set on seeing this.... More

It's a fairly easy but uphill walk through the gardens, with the guide often stopping to explain the view and the garden buildings. English spoken throughout the tour which lasts about 1-1/2 hours. If it's a hot day, take the 11am tour otherwise it can be tiring. The view from the top is spectacular and all three arms of the... More

If you love beautiful views, nature or a gentle walk you will find them all on this excursion. The tours run twice a day from the square by the church and take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours, cost 9 euros. Guide spoke in English and was very knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend more highly. Avoid cafe by entrance food is terrible... More

In response to the other reviews, understand that this walking tour is three kilometers and very steep, so be prepared. The guide is so sweet and friendly and speaks perfect English and French. She helps you understand the history of Bellagio and of the Villa. You will get wonderful views of many parts of the lake that you couldn't see... More

Nice views over town but could not take any pictures of the villa. )You could get a better picture from town but not from tour.) Not much to see when we went. Kind of expensive too for what we saw but $ used to support Bellagio town. I would skip this tour.

Well worth the walk. Made us go and read much more about ella walker, who is much lauded by the tour guide, as someone who reinvested and restored the property in the 1930s. She was quite the character and had a colourful life! The grounds are lovely to look at and owe most of their provenance to Kew gardens in... More
