Lovely to walk around, lots of cobbled streets, shops and restaurants. There is a cover charge on all restaurants but only a couple of euros each. Take the funiculars - stunning views from the top.
Wonderful old town with lovely shops, bars and streets and fabulous views. Very busy when we were there but you just need to go away from the main street to get away from the crowds.

Although a 'funicolare' is available, and occasionally we did use it, the walk up Sant Allessandro is satisfying, knowing that the meal at the top will be worth it.A beautiful old city, so much history and ancient architecture,it is worth visiting more than once.
