Stopped here one night for a quick drink with my girlfriend, mainly to find out what it was as from the street level, you see a ramp/street up, some tables at the top end, and a door towards the top on the right. We sat down and in no time we had a menu in our hands, we ordered straight... More

We stopped here for a drink on the way back to our hotel after a day out just for 'one quick drink', and with all 'one quick drinks' we were there for a good couple of hours! We sat looking out over the harbour as the sun went down sipping beers and white wine with an array of complimentary appertisers... More

Sandro and his Bar are the main reason we fell in love with this region. He has an excellent taste in wine and most of all he is such a nice guy!!! Go there for aperitivo or after dinner drinks. The view over the bay is stunning and you will always meet nice people, be it locals or other tourists.... More

Absolutely loved this little gem would have to be the spot to either have a beautiful wine or have something to eat. Sandro the owner introduced us to the white wine Cinque Terre which was lovely we will definitely be hunting this one down when we return to Australia. The views are amazing as was Sandro with his knowledge and... More

Alessandro makes Le Vernissage a wonderful bar to visit. The hands on owner looked after my wife & I on our recent visit to Santa Margherita. We had a lovely lunch overlooking the beautiful port city. The food was fresh and the vino refreshing on a warm July afternoon. He took the time to sit and chat with us and... More

a great little bar up a cobbled hill which i found by chance on a walk around Santa M. Offers a great view of the entire marina where you can sit and relax. The owner, Sandro will look after you, is extremely charming and accommodating and his English is excellent if you don't speak Italian. The menu includes a great... More

Charming place to stop for lunch and drinks overlooking the bay of Santa Margherita. The outdoor seating is nest door to the castle, which adds to the ambience. We ordered a meat and cheese platter which was delicious and very reasonably priced, and washed it down with an Apperol Spritz or too. Perfect place to sit back and relax in... More

Cute sophisticated little place up a brick road at the castle in direction fish market. Outdoor seating with lovely views and friendly service. We had called in for an aperitivo before dinner and were served a plate of delicious canapes. Upon ordering a second round of drinks, even more canapes appeared. Yes, we could have left them...... but we ate... More

Walking from our hotel, along the waterfront on our first night in Santa Margherita Ligure, we noticed a cobbled pathway leading to red umbrellas, next to the old castle and overlooking hte bay. A great find! Allesandro was the charming host/owner and I felt like we were in his home The interior bar is comfortable, but on a warm night... More
