Amazing views

The church is stunning inside and the walk in the gardens of the villa has stunning views. Well worth the 1-2 hours.

On our last day in Santa Margherita, our family of four took a stroll up to Villa Durazzo. We enjoyed the setting, the views, and the lush landscape (it was especially nice on a hot day). We happened to go on a day that the buildings, cafe, etc. were closed but enjoyed our visit nonetheless.

What a charming place, we just happened to stumble apon it when we were walking through the surrounding gardens. The Villa is at the top of the hill separating the two sides of Santa Margherita Ligure. The vill is no longer a residence and is used for functions. We were provided with a english guide map of the Villa and... More

If you are staying in Santa Margherita for more than a couple of days, you should make the steep but short climb up to this elegant old villa and its gardens, You'll enjoy an oasis of calm, shady and luxuriant vegetation and a wonderful view over the harbour and the bay. Although the interior of the villa is pleasant but... More

Beautiful gardens of an old palazzio ( currently used by the university so no access inside ) Lovely cool places to sit and admire the views in a very peaceful setting, but it was a long trek up on a hot afternoon

A large villa set in a terraced park. Some rooms have been refurbished but they are sparsely furnished. Many paths in the grounds are in need of renovation.

The gardens of this Villa are very nice and the view of the city is very beautiful as well. The day we were there they were shooting a film, which was very amusing for us to watch at.

Very nice grounds around the villa and church, you might want to check on the closing times. We got locked in and had to call security to let us out
