Outdoor Portofino deals with ecotourism and outdoor activities related to the sea. The idea is to give everyone the chance to appreciate the beauty of Portofino Marine Park in the best possible way: paddling, rowing and sailing!AIM:Our goal is to give everyone the chance to discover the secrets of this preserved area. On board of kayaks or small sailing and rowing boats we give the opportunity to reach and see hidden and otherwise inaccessible natural paradises that behold the most colorful and genuine secrets of the ligurian coast sea vegetation. Guided by marine biologists and local experts in off-track excursion, all of our staff assures not only the best company and highest quality of sea sports instruction and guiding, but the chance to come in contact with the most peculiar and traditional aspects of this small and rich natural sanctuary and its costumes. With a bit of ambition and firmly believing in eco-tourism’s power, we want to provide the opportunity for those who visit these beautiful places to do it in the best way possible! We are also involved in carrying on a scientific environmental project.

Portofino is a seaside resort town just 20 minutes from Santa Margherita Ligure. Beautiful and scenic with small shops suited for leisurely stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets. Lots of small quaint eateries and cafes to rest tired feet and to enjoy some libation. Site of Andrea Bocelli's "Love in Portofino" concert in 2013. Worth visiting if you're anywhere near... More

The folks at Outdoor Portofino are AWESOME! So we didn't do any of their traditional activities (will next time). My wife and I participated in their Miglio Blu swimming event. This is a mile or half mile swimming event. it was a total blast, really well organized and a made me (an americano) feel welcome in a total fun Italian... More

Take in the view from up top Castello Brown! Enjoy the museum while you are there. Enjoy the simplistic yet authentic Italian ambiance. Excellent restaurants line the marina as well as very quaint shops with hand crafted items. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy beautiful Portofino, Salute!

The kayak experience was incredible. Along with the sights, the water, the caves, beaches, and the guides. We did paddle for 6 hours the first day so don't be surprised if you'll be sore the end of that evening. It's all worth it though. And I do appreciate that our particular guides on this trip, Walter and Angelo, were very... More

I really wanted to go down below and touch the Bronze hand of Cristo. This Kayaking school allowed me to join a group that had already been booked for the weekend to spend the night in the mountains and then to kayak in Ex theme from Santa Rosa to words Portofino. They were very well organized and the Guide, Angelo,... More

While walking from San Margherita to Portofino (along a spectacular 5 km path that connects the two villages), we passed Outdoor Portofino nestled in a small cove. After finishing the walk we decided to return and rent kayaks. It was a wonderful decision! The kayaks at Outdoor Portofino are very reasonably priced---8 euros per hour for a single and 12... More

Lovely small place, very worth visiting. The view from St. George's Church is marvellous. Good to have a nice pacagiu (ice-cream with berries or other fruit).

Came to Genoa on our cruise and asked a local taxi to take us here and I'm SO glad we did. The scenery is beautiful, colourful houses and small local market stalls. Places that sell gelato and little boats mixed with huge yachts, all bathed in sunshine surrounded by hills.
