Outdoor Portofino deals with ecotourism and outdoor activities related to the sea. The idea is to give everyone the chance to appreciate the beauty of Portofino Marine Park in the best possible way: paddling, rowing and sailing!AIM:Our goal is to give everyone the chance to discover the secrets of this preserved area. On board of kayaks or small sailing and rowing boats we give the opportunity to reach and see hidden and otherwise inaccessible natural paradises that behold the most colorful and genuine secrets of the ligurian coast sea vegetation. Guided by marine biologists and local experts in off-track excursion, all of our staff assures not only the best company and highest quality of sea sports instruction and guiding, but the chance to come in contact with the most peculiar and traditional aspects of this small and rich natural sanctuary and its costumes. With a bit of ambition and firmly believing in eco-tourism’s power, we want to provide the opportunity for those who visit these beautiful places to do it in the best way possible! We are also involved in carrying on a scientific environmental project.

You feel you know Portofino because it features in so many photos of the Italian Riviera. What you don't appreciate is that in reality it is quite small. However it's well worth a morning or afternoon visit. This is best done by the efficient ferry boat service form Santa Margherita Ligure, where there is more car parking and also a... More

Quite expensive to eat here, but it is stunningly beautiful. We took a train to Santa Margherita Ligure, then got the regular boat service. On a nice day it's a lovely way to travel.

And Portonfino is my favorite town on the Riviera, while there isn't a "bad" one, this quaint and small fishing village is fabulous! Friendly locals, most speak English, great shops and small cafés to sip wine and enjoy the sights, sounds and aromas of the Mediterranean.

Portofino is a worth while visit if you are touring the Italian riviera. However, it's very expensive, as is quite customary when realestate is in short supply. We had a car so drove there. Road up is narrow but beautiful, but if you are the driver don't expect to look around much as you will be busy maneuvering around cars,... More

We stayed at Rapallo and after looking at the map we thought- lets walk to Portofino!!.. lol I have to admit its looked quite far to walk and probably sounds like it too but if you have a good pair of legs and good footwear you can easily walk it. We strolled along and went pass Stanta Margherita and neighbouring... More

I think visit to this something (city? Village?) was a largest disapointment ever. Twice we tried to reach it but every time were returned by police after standing still on the road in our car for more than one hour. No parking if you can beleive. They said go back (30 minutes to the near city) and take a bus.... More

This place is so beautiful, there is something magical about it. Everyone loved it. There are lots of shops and artists shops, and restaurants. The walk to the Castle on the hill was very interesting as was the castle itself.

Portofino is a beautiful village, a must see on everyone's bucket list, it reminded me of some small fishing villages back home in Cornwall, but with more colour, there actually is not a lot there and for me was slightly spoiled by the numerous purple erect meerkats on top of the back wall of the harbour, part of a rather... We hit on a wonderful day, in late October. The weather was warm and balmy and people were swimming just round the corner, in Paraggi. Portofino was blazingly beautiful. It made St. Tropez look like an eyesore!
