Worth the hunt to find it

This church is a bit out of the way, off to the right of the main square. The architecture is great, as are the stained glass windows. It is worth the walk.

Beautiful church! If you talk to the locals you will find out that there are some memorials in the church dedicated to their families. Full of beautiful architecture.

I preferred this to St George church as it was far more atmospheric and beautiful inside. This is on the right hand side of the village (looking from the sea)

The medieval Church of San Martino, which dominates the hillside, was built in the XII century in the Romanesque style. Approaching the church, you will cross a beautiful mosaic terrace, where you have a great view of the entire Portofino bay. Entering the church, you pass through the magnificent bronze door. Inside there are several paintings and sculptures including a... More

Great view and photography spot over Portofino from this church which is a quick walk from the village. There is also a cemetery out the back.

Nothing unusual for this part of Italy from the outside, but truly wonderful interior with wonderful stained glass windows (including some very contemporary) and dramatic ceiling paintings.
