Very, very actractive place, but: many banches are broken, a lot of trashes (most on the cliffs), sewers that unload directly in the sea... poor Genoa. Anyway You can have wonderful landscape, go to the garden of roses and have relex for Your kids in a large play camp. Last point: go in the early morning if You want to... More

Undemanding walk along coastal path. Some steps and slopes but suitable for able-bodied and sensible shoes. Fresh air, sea and coastal views, local colour. Possible to get bus back from outward walk.

Lovely paved walk directly above the shoreline, easily accessed from Genoa-Nervi station by a pedestrian underpass and strolled from end to end in an easy flat hour. Train is still within Genoa local area so your day bus pass will allow you to also take the local train here and back inclusive. There is a Pretty park half way and... More

If you don't have time to make it to cinque terre, try this walk. Lovely and paved, small kids can scoot along this passeggiata and there is a big playground in the park next to it. Well with a day trip.

Caught the train here from Genova , easy trip get off the train just a few steps and you are there on the path. We just loved walking it in both directions from the station so many things to look at and see. The Mediterranean was just glistening on the day we were there. We had a wonderful lunch on... More

This narrow pedestrian road near the sea is just idilic. Words can not describe the beauty But my advice is to reserve one full day and do a walk from Genoa harbour until Garibaldi passage. There are about 12-13 km but trust me you will enjoy each cm of this road In my opinion Italian Riviera beats French Riviera as... More

The common (and fastest) way to get there is taking commuter train from any of Genoa's stations. But you could also consider taking bus from Piazza Verdi (Brignole station). So you can get directly to Porticcio di Nervi (little harbor) where the Passeggiata begins. And also see ancient roman bridge besides (it's right near 'Ponte Nervi' bus stop). To take... More

Everybody can walk along this trail admiring the coast and the sea and stopping in the parks of Nervi: perfect in spring because it's not too hot! Perfect with children too! Easy trail to discover another Italian beauty. The best is arriving by train, the station is really close and you have no parking problems.... To all travellers...come and see
