We took the train to Genoa Nervi from the Principe Station, for which journey you can use an easily purchased AMT pass, which seems to cover all local public transport, except the Airport Bus. The Nervi station is effectively half way along the Passeggiata, so we turned eastward and walked to the end, which was in itself a nice little... More

Traveling by train from Genoa (morning), we expected for something more attractive. Indeed, nice sights, interesting geological cliffs and beaches, but both of us were disappointed. Nothing special, we've seen much nicer places, considering it as a waste of time.

A purpose made 2km coastal walkway from Nervi to Capolungo. Beautiful views and plenty of places to stop for a drink or some food. Perfect for a Sunday stroll with all the local people.

stunning coastline in glorious sunshine! Sad that the botanical gardens were closed and the whole area is slightly run down. However it adds to its charms! It was great to see all the Italians swimming from the rocks and bays with quaint beach huts. a few cafes to stop and watch the world go by. We bought some fantastic foccacia... More

Very easy to reach Genova Nervi by train and spend a very pleasant few hours. Beautiful views from various spots around the town and recommend a local bakery selling delicious freshly made focaccia and biscuits to enjoy while sitting and admiring the lovely Ligurian coastline.

If you have the time to go to Nervi, this place definitely worths the train ride. A one hour passegiata that will let you asking for more of its great views (great cliff picks) and, a personal advice, you MUST have a gelato on the cremeria at the end of the walk ( a fex blocks away on the shore,... Among joggers, walkers contemplating the kayaks that caress the sea, and the painters who immortalized unique views ... you can breathe the essence of spring ... little known to the general tourism, but really unique. It has absolutely nothing to envy to the most inflated Ligurian tourist destinations such as the 5 Terre (five Lands) and Portofino. An authentic pathway... More

Enjoyed a sunny and bracing December morning walking the length of this charming promenade. Easy and cheap to reach by train from central Genoa - make the effort if you are there for a couple of days or more. No wonder 19th and early 20th Century tourists flocked here.

One of my favorite things to do in the Genoa area. Liguria is all about the sea, and this sets it off beautifully. Stroll along with the young mothers with babies and older couples arm in arm. Fall in love with Italy all over again.
