We stumbled upon this place after meeting someone on the cinque terre trail who recommended it. We arrived and were immediately welcomed to do a tasting (we had no reservation, so I was a bit nervous, but we were happily welcomed regardless!). The owner (i presume) was so helpful, friendly and cheerful it would have been hard to NOT have... More

Where do I start?! First thing this property is impossible to find. The website needs to provide map and detailed directions to find as it took us at least 1 hr of driving around village to find. When finally arrived accommodation was very disappointing - 1 star accommodation at 4 star prices. Mismatched bedding and furniture, tired linen, lack of... More

We was few days on weekend in this wonderful place. This was great! Wonderful nature, nice owners, good service. You can enjoy good wine, observing beautiful lemon and olive gardens, green mountains and at night you can see magic show with many firefly around. Amazing! Especially when you test good wine and nice hospitality of owners. King regards to them... More

My family and I were walking in Monterosso and a couple came up to us and told us there was a lovely winery up in the foothills. We followed their directions. After a steep walk up to the winery we were greeted by the owners who were friendly and helpful. The wine and limoncello was great. There appetizers were good... More

Walking along one of the beautiful trails of Monterosso we stumbled across Buranco Winery. What a surprising place, with no directions to get there! Lovely grounds and nice place to spend a little time. My husband and daughter even spent time playing soccer in the lemon orchard. Stop in a buy a bottle!

4 of us took a day and went to this winery. It was highly recommended, and the President of the US requested the best wine in the region, and it was wine from here. We spent 5 hours, enjoying the view, the wine, and the Owner. If you have an afternoon and want to have a peaceful day and enjoy... More

We only did the wine tasting and it was a wonderful experience. This place is a hidden gem. The setting is in a beautiful hilltop surrounded by vines and olive trees. Wine is great. Owners are very friendly and generous with their pours. Wine tasting includes appetizers and pastry with dessert wine. True Italian hospitality. We didn't want to leave.... More

We met people staying here and thought it sounded interesting enough to check out - maybe for future use.... High on a hill overlooking olive groves, vinyards, lemon groves (no water view), is the Buranco Vinyard. They make some really great wine - not that cheap! There are 3 rooms which accomodate a total of only 16 people. The lovely... More

My wife and I trudged uphill to the Buranco property (hint: follow Via Buranco up from the main part of the old town all the way up past the police station until you hit the front gate--abiout a 10 minute very steep walk) We did not have a reservation, but were accomodated right away and were welcomed by the family... After a hike in the hills take half a day in the afternoon to relax and truly get into the Italian Wine culture. A full tasteing includes Breads, pate's and bakery treats all made in house. Yumm! A full bottle tasteing here! No little sip tasteing as I said you need an afternoon to take in the wine and all... More
