My husband and I stumbled upon this little gem while wondering around the marina. We were going to go catch the ferry when we saw Stefano's sign about about a private tour and stopped to talk to him. He was so engaging we decided to splurge and arranged to come back at 4:00 to do a sunset cruise on the... More

Prior to our arrival in Monterosso, I booked a two-hour tour with Stefano for our family of 5 (including three "kids" in their early 20s). The weather was iffy on the scheduled day so I checked in with Stefano by email. He rearranged our tour time to catch the best weather of the day, which was really helpful. The tour... More

My husband booked a 2 hour trip with Stefano as a surprise to celebrate my birthday. It was such a treat! Stefano was a great guide, taking us to multiple private areas to swim and even to any area that we could climb up and jump off a small cliff into the sea. He had so much knowledge of the... More

Due to a scheduling mix up of Matilde Navigazione, we had an alternate guide, who was cordial, but gave no history, no insight & a very boring tour. Also, no wine or appetizers. No discount was given for missing elements. The scenery was beautiful, but we were disappointed with what was promised, but not delivered.

Dear, I regret but there was a misunderstanding due to the fact that you are arrived at the pier before 5 pm ( scheduled departure time) and as per information received fm my colleague you don't tell him that you have a booking with departure at 0500pm then at your request to do a tour he said "yes". When I'm... More

Stefano's tour was available the day of our request, and he gave us an idea of what time the water would be the smoothest that day, which is very important, especially for sensitive tummies. He offered beer and wine along with water and soft drinks, and he explained the unique geological history of the Cinque Terre, which I appreciated. He... More

We went on a sunset cruise from monterosso to riomaggiore with Stephano. He was very friendly and gave us an informative tour of the five terres. He pointed out geological features as well as historical perspectives. Great tour and wonderful views from the water.

Stefano is on the ball from the first email to the boat trip. He is super friendly, lively, spoke great English. This tour gave us the best introduction to Cinque Terre. He accommodated for a big group of 9 of us on two boats. This gave us our first impression of the locals in Cinque Terre - their attitude (chilled,... More

Our tour was late leaving and the boat was pretty messy, but Stefano is some character, it wasn't too expensive (for a family/group) and we found that the best way to experience Cinque Terre was definitely from the sea. Would highly recommend an evening boat trip in this region.

We prebooked with Matilde Navigazione prior to leaving from home. We confirmed the afternoon of the tour, and Stefano met us at the pier at our appointment time. However, he had to go get some cake for the trip, so our departure was slightly delayed. The boat was roomy, but my daughter noticed that the towels Stefano laid on the... More

We enjoyed seeing the Cinque Terre area from the water, close enough to really see the details of the shoreline and the beautiful vistas. Stefano is an engaging host, and his enthusiasm for sharing this beautiful region is evident. This was a highlight of our trip, for sure!
