Stefano is on the ball from the first email to the boat trip. He is super friendly, lively, spoke great English. This tour gave us the best introduction to Cinque Terre. He accommodated for a big group of 9 of us on two boats. This gave us our first impression of the locals in Cinque Terre - their attitude (chilled,... More

Our tour was late leaving and the boat was pretty messy, but Stefano is some character, it wasn't too expensive (for a family/group) and we found that the best way to experience Cinque Terre was definitely from the sea. Would highly recommend an evening boat trip in this region.

We prebooked with Matilde Navigazione prior to leaving from home. We confirmed the afternoon of the tour, and Stefano met us at the pier at our appointment time. However, he had to go get some cake for the trip, so our departure was slightly delayed. The boat was roomy, but my daughter noticed that the towels Stefano laid on the... More

We enjoyed seeing the Cinque Terre area from the water, close enough to really see the details of the shoreline and the beautiful vistas. Stefano is an engaging host, and his enthusiasm for sharing this beautiful region is evident. This was a highlight of our trip, for sure!

Stefano is very passionate and knowledgeable about the geology of Cinque Terre. Discussion of former quarries was interesting. His selection of wine for the tour was incredible.

Stefano is a wonderful, passionate gentleman that wants to share his 5 Lands. He explained the geology, farming, building and living in this beautiful region. He was animated and upbeat and we felt very safe with him at the helm. ( my husband is a non swimmer) We went out for the sunset cruise for 2 hours. I recommend this... More

A 3h boat-trip allowed us (2+2 family) to experience all 5 villages from the seaside, with additional spectacular views of cliffs and caves. A few stops to snorkel and jump cliffs made the trip perfect. Stefano serving dolce with local wine rounded of a perfect afternoon. Can highly recommend this way to experience beautiful C5 away from the sometime suffocating... More

This is a basic ferry that takes you between all of the cities. The times are convenient, and they give you plenty of time to enjoy each city before moving onto the next. Tickets may be purchased on the dock in Montorrosso and are pretty reasonable.

Spending the afternoon with Stefano touring Cinque Terre was like spending the afternoon with an Italian Uncle. He shared his knowledge and love for the area and his enthusiasm was infectious! He catered the tour to our wants and needs feeding us wine and focaccia all the while. We were able to get up close to many special inlets and... More

Stefano is an amazing tour guide. He took us to the 5 lands by boat and showed us the best sites along the coast, while giving us a brief history. We had 7 people in our group, and we were running a little late...but he was so flexible and so nice he adjusted our tour with no problem at all!... More
