Sounds like a porcine lover's paradise? well, in fact Parma was the home of the composers Verdi and Toscannini and opera pervades every aspect of life here. Opening night at the Regio always involves meeting people Its an occasion. Special dinners are served at intermission during first night of the opera season in homage to opera's other passion - to... I really enjoyed my visit to Parma. Laura made sure we saw the everything but didn't feel rushed. She was very knowledgeable about each location. I recommend her tour to anyone interested in the food typical of Parma.

Laura did an terrific job explaining the intricate story behind these artisan products. We will never look at Parmesan cheese, Parma ham and Balsamic vinegar the same way again.

One of the top highlights of a two week vacation in Parma and Tuscany was our day spent with Laura touring 3 food destinations, along with a lunch stop at a winery. It was a pleasure to have someone else drive - and Laura did an excellent job! She is personable, knowledgeable, and had the utmost patience with all of... More

OK I can say more. Laura you are the Queen of Parma. The passion you have for the products you showed us in the unique, smaller locations in the real special places in Parma where the artisans produce wonderful food was amazing. It was a private tour even though there was another couple with us - it still was very... More

Laura's knowledge and organisation skills make this day excellent value - the option of following her or travelling in her car make it accessible and a little more private - lunch was an absolute highlight!

Laura was fabulous giving us a tour of a cheese factory in Parma and bringing us to a balsamic vinegar house. She shared her love of her home town with us and we found the tours interesting and fascinating. Laura is very personable and we had an enjoyable time with her. We highly recommend her tour.

Laura picked me up on time and was the most gracious tour guide. She has chosen wonderful locations to showcase Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma and Parma Balsamic. She is a fun person to around and her love of the food and the region easily rubs off. I would highly recommend this tour and will come back to see Laura... More

Laura promptly picked the two of us up at 9AM at our hotel and we had a delightful day learning about and tasting the famous food products and wine of the Parma region. Our day with Laura will remain as the most unique and enjoyable day we spent during our 4 weeks in Italy in September. Thank you Laura! Michele... More

Laura picked us up and we went on a day-long excursion of fabulous food experiences. We now appreciate even more how REAL Parmigiano-Reggiano, Parma Prosciutto and Balsamic Vinegar is made. In addition we stopped at a lovely winery and had a delicious lunch. It was the highlight of our trip and would highly recommend it.
