Laura picked us up at our hotel we saw cheese production, parma prosciutto being made and a delightful Balslamic vinegar house. After all that we had lunch at a very cozy traditional restaurant. My 14 year old commented that he would like to try the horse meat which is a delicacy of the Parma area. Laura was able to email... More

We booked this tour with Laura well in advance based on the TP reviews. We did not regret! We learned a lot about and "touched" and tasted a lot of all the produce Parma is so well known for. The prosciutto di Parma, the Parmegiano, the Lambrusco and the Balsamico. Even if we knew the produce from earlier tastings (except... More

I found Laura on tripadvisor, and all the wonderful reviews she receives are not wrong. We spent a beautiful and educational day with her in Parma. It was such a plus that she picked smaller producers because we learned so much . Laura is very knowledgeable, speaks English very well and is accommodating. She picked us up at our hotel... More

Laura was a fantastic guide for Parmiggiano, prosciutto and balsamico. She has great information and is a fun person to spend the day with. This was a major highlight of our time in Parma. You will not regret doing a tour with Laura.

Laura was outstanding, knowledgeable, and courteous. I was 30 minutes early(pushy american) but she was nice & didn't use it against me, as I deserved. Get an education on Parmesan, Proscuitto, & Balsamic along with Marco.

A good, simple, and complete tour of what the province of Parma, Italy is known for - Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Prosciutto di Parma ham, and the "real deal" Balsamic Vinegar. Laura is knowledgeable on the cheese and ham, and Marco is an authority on balsamic vinegar. You really get a taste of Parma. Yummy!

We were thrilled to tour small family owned or co-op facilities with a local guide. Having this private tour was. Real gift. We are not big tour group people and we appreciated having Laura's full attention and not being rushed through the tours. Lunch was also very special. Well worth it - thank you Laura!

We took this tour on March 29, 2014. Family of 4 (kids-13, 11). Laura was great to deal with (phone/email) but she was ill on the day and organized for a colleague of hers to be our guide. Marco was fantastic. He picked us up near the train station in Parma. A restaurateur, sommelier, and now a balsamic producer. First,... More

I had looked and discarded the options I had originally found for Parma food tours as most of them required us to have our own car (which we didn't) or otherwise pay for a very expensive car option. I was put onto Laura by our hostess, Patrizia, from Al Battistero d'Oro B&B - just the most perfect place to stay!!... More
