We found out about this fabulous tour from a lady we met on a tour boat of the Cinque Terra. She told us that Laura's tour was terrific and indeed it was. Our first stop at Parma cheese factory was fun and informative. We were even there on Thursday...make ricotta day! I had no idea of the complexity and process... More

We had a great time with Laura! The day flew by! We got to see the process for parmigiana-reggiano, Parma Ham, and Balsamic vinegar. We would have bought ham and cheese but can't import to the U.S. We did buy balsamic vinegar and look forward to sharing the wonderful stuff at home. The tour with Marco at the Balsamic house... Laura was a great guide for the tours of the Parmigiana Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma and Acetaia Picci. Everything, from start to finish was organized and efficient. Our group was small, but we had almost constant questions which she answered perfectly. Lunch at Agriturismo Podere Montefiore was a delicious bonus. There is no way to have an experience like this... More

Laura was awesome. She picked us up at our hotel and everything following that just got better. She does an excellent job at the Parmesan cheese and Parma Ham factories of explaining the processes. Lunch at the winery might be the best meal we had on our entire trip. And balsamic vinegar; well we should have bought a few bottles... More

We took a tour of the production facilities of several typical products of the Parma region with Laura. She is a seasoned & professional host, having lived in Parma her whole life and from doing these tours since 2008. It was a common tour route as we saw other, much bigger tour groups at the various locations. I was thankful... More

Laura picked us up at our B&B, just my husband and myself, for our "private" tour. Started with a lovely drive to the countryside, first stop was the Parmigiano-Reggiano factory where we saw the cheese being made, then got to taste it. Laura gave us a detailed description of the process.Next stop was Parma ham factory with an assortment of... More

We took an early train from Milan to meet Laura at the Parma station. We went directly to a the cheese facility then on to a ham production with a coffee stop in between. Lunch at a vineyard then a tour of a balsamic production. Laura was personable and friendly. We did a lot but did not feel rushed at... More

Four of us went on a full-day food tour with Laura. What a knowledgeable, professional, kind and generous guide she is. We had one of the best lunches of our three week trip at a restaurant in a vineyard setting and learned so much about the production of Parmesano-Reggiano, Parma Ham and Balsamic production. It was a wonderful way to... More

Laura is just the kind of tour guide you want- knowledgeable, connected with the agricultural community and generous with her expertise. Since we had no car, she offered to drive us; we were glad she did since the tour took us to the other side of the Emelia-Romagna region, well outside of Parma. It became apparent we were in for... This tour was on our last day in Italy after 3 weeks traveling from the Amalfi Coast to Rome, Florence and multiple stops in between. This more than met my expectations and Laura is a wonderful person. I highly reccomend this tour (with Laura) for anyone who has never seen Cheese, Parma Ham, or Balsamic Vinegar processed.
