We cannot say enough good things about Amalda and the “three kings” tour with FWT. The cost of the tour is undoubtedly expensive, but it is WORTH IT if you want a complete introduction into the jewels that Parma has to offer. We pretty much only came to Parma for the food, so if you are a foodie like my... More

Our "Three Kings" tour was with Angelo, who we met at a specified location in Parma before starting the tour. Angelo was prompt and very knowledgable from the get-go, and we really felt we had an insider's perspective at all three places we visited. It was amazing to see the level of craftsmanship and attention that goes into these staples... More

Charles yes so well put... it's an Art indeed ... unbelievable that our friends can produce such high quality with such natural simple traditions. Such dedication, detail and love. Communication as you reminded me, is also an art we practice and like to think we improve and succeed at. And you are of course, along with our great reviewers, so... More

We traveled down from Lake Garda for the day down to Parma. We met our tour guide Angelo at the services, where we then drove off to the local Parmigiana Reggiano maker, where we saw the whole process of making the Parmesan, salting and storing the wheels. It was amazing seeing rows of shelves stacked from floor to ceiling with... More

Matt hi!! Yep those cheese wheels are a blast, great tastes and aromas in there too. Not what you expected I bet ... so stunning! My wife and two teenagers spent the day today on the "Three Kings" tour. We started the day at a local Parmigiana-Reggiano maker, then toured a family owned Prosciutto di Parma curing house. After a great lunch at a local winery, we finished the day at a traditional balsamico maker. Our guide, Angelo, was awesome, and very knowledgeable about all... More

Took this tour earlier this month with three friends. We were joined by two others, so there was six of us total. Alice was our guide. I thought she was knowledgeable and friendly. A member of my group was a little difficult at times and I thought she dealt with it well. Everyone on the tour currently lives in Italy,... More

This tour enabled us to learn about Parma ham and Parmgiano cheese at the same time. Amelda was a cheerful and enthusiastic guide who made the day go quickly. From the perspective of the tour company, we don't think anything could have been better done. What we do not understand is why the winery and balsamic vinegar companies did not... More

Thanks so much for yr immediate review Bill and yes our Amalda is very special... a real jewel found. Re the Balsamico supply.. you actually wanted the cheaper 'Balsamico Condimento' which at 15 bucks a bottle sells out pretty regular (we and the kids love the stuff!!) and there was plenty of DOC Balsamico Tradizionale on the shelf for you... What a great review and really important point noted re our Guide's skills.
