My husband and I had joined the half-day Gourmet tour. There are full of interesting activities during the tour, including visiting Parmesan cheese factory, Parma Ham factory, a beautiful castle and a vineyard. The tour guide, Michelle, is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She told us a lot of interesting facts and stories about the gourmet which we really didn't... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day gourmet tour. It all went very smoothly, and our guide, Simonetta, was knowledgeable. The tour of the parmigiano factory was a highlight - fascinating. We loved trying the different grades of cheese. The countryside between the different sites was beautiful. We unknowingly booked the tour on an Italian public holiday, so the prosciutto factory was... More

I had a chance to spend the day with "Food Valley Gourmet Tours" with Andrea. I had such an amazing time. I was able to try many new and different foods. It was highly informative as well. I learned many things about the local area, as well learned about the local food & wines to Parma. Andrea was very professional... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Food Valley Travel. Andrea took great care of us and we very much enjoyed his company. He was also very informative and we learnt a lot about the processes of making Parmesan and Prosciutto di Parma in the places where they are made. We also stopped in picturesque spots to enjoy the scenery and... More

We joined a full day tour that combine all Parma representing gourmet : Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto di Parma, Acetaia balsamic and all-we-should-eat & drink-in-Parma at our lunch in a winery. We were picked up from and returned to our hotel staying by polite and gentle driver in clean comfortable car. Most of all, the guide is knowledgeable and generously shared... More

We wanted to see how the famous parmesan cheese and Parma ham was made, and it was a very good experience! Interesting process all extremely well delivered in English by our guide. A bit far to drive between the two locations. A very nice lunch in beautiful surroundings was included. We were very pleased and would happily recommend this to... More

Highly recommend! We booked an all day tour with driver and guide for our family of five. Parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto di Parma and balsamic of Modena. It was truly a highlight of our 12 days in Italy. Don't miss the balsamic tour by doing the half day! Our guide, Melanie, was a delight. Very informative and entertaining. Wonderful lunch at... More

I was traveling solo through this region and emailed about joining up on a tour. As a solo traveler it's often tricky during not so high tourist season but the staff allowed me to join a family of 5 which was perfect. A miscommunication arose as to the timing and location of where I was to meet them - and... More

If you happen to have a half day available in Parma (or a suggested drive from Milano), I highly suggest you book the tour to the Caseificio Consorzio Produttori Latte and Salumificio Conti with a final lunch stop at Casale del Groppone. Our guide Michelle met us at an exit off the A1 and we were off to a Parmigiano... More
