An experience definitely recommended to any foodie out there! A mini trip away with mother, made me want to experience the obvious in Parma- the FOOD! I love Parma Ham & tbh not a big fan of cheese. To my surprise, I came back with 1kg of cheese takeaway! The ham was good & fresh but I think I over... more

After reading all the great reviews we selected this tour and went in September. There were a series of problems starting with our pick-up. When I booked the tour I was corresponding by email with Francesca, I think she is the one all the good reviews are about, and asked her specifically where to meet and how we would recognize... more

We did the Gourmet Food Tour and city tour of Parma in July. Both were excellent and the highlight of our visit to Italy. Melanie is a great guide and provided lots of information about Parma and its foods. more

My daughter and I have a marvalous tour with Andrea in April. Food Valley Tours was so helpful in planning to maximize our time in Parma. Our guide picked us up at Tabiano Castle, where we had spent the night. Andrea is an easy going, knowledgeable guy and we really enjoyed his company. We toured the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese factory in... more

Andrea made this tour very special and personal. The wine tasting/lunch was very pleasent and enjoyable. Andrea also went considerably out of his way to solve an issue for me and make our stay in the region very memoriable. Highly recommended and would do it again the next time I am in this region of Italy. Carlo Pignoli more

For anyone with a passion for food and a desire to discover the best of Parma and surrounding areas of the bountiful Emilia-Romagna region, a tour with Food Valley is definitely a “must do” . Foods that are particular to this area are experienced at the source - their production, fascinating history then of course, there is the chance to... more

I arranged this tour over the internet just prior to leaving for Italy. It's expensive but such a unique experience that I felt it was worth it. We got to see parmigiano reggiano cheese being made. Then saw a proscuitto factory up in the hills. The winery tour was not all that exciting to us because we live in Sonoma... more

In September we went on a food tour with Andrea of Food Valley as part of our vacation. We enjoy food immensely and we arranged our two weeks in Italy around going to a Parmesan and a Prosciutto factory in the spiritual home of Italian Food. The tour was excellent. We were traveling via train for two weeks so it... more

This tour was a pleasant surprise! The tour guide picked me up from the train station and took me to see the preparation of the Parmigiano Reggiano as well as the prosciutto. This took most of the morning ending with a sampling of prosciutto, other salamis from the area, and parmigiano. Definitely recommend this company, they do an excellent job... more
