One of the greatest things you have to see in Modena. It is amazing. Modena should be more popular really.

We enjoyed a apertif at the Bar Cagliari on the Grande Piazza. It was a warm evening and the town seemed to be out! Great for people watching and getting a good feel for the town of Modena. When we were there (in Oct) there were not many tourists so it felt nice to just take in the local activity.... More

Beautiful square with a beautiful cathedral. The square is surrounded by the arches of the townhall which when we were there was full of students looking for places to live for thenew uni year and a stage for the weekend of festa of philosophie.

It is really "grande". The buildings like cathedral, CIty Hall , the Rosa stone, make it a very nice square, this is the center of the city.
