Was so excited to go and taste the real Balsamic and was totally satisfied with the visit. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly; setting, aroma, and history is intoxicating; and the real Balsamic is unlike anything you've had in the U.S. Plus the tasting room!!! Easy train ride to Modena and taxi ride to the site, plus the prices were... More

Booking a visit was very easy via the website and Davide was prompt in replying. It turned out that we were the only two people on our tour. It was really interesting to hear about the process for making balsamic vinegar, and how regulated the industry is for those creating the very high quality products. Tasting the vinegar was a... This was a very informative and fun little tour that my husband and I got to experience one on one with the owner. Davide is passionate about his life's work and you can tell he really loves to teach others about the process of making true Traditionale Balsalmico di Modena. It was a great 45 minute tour and tasting, free... More

First of all it can be very hard to find so hopefully this review helps if you end up driving up and down the street looking for it. DO NOT GO TO THE RESTAURANT. If you use google maps it will lead you astray. If you come from the highway you end up going under a small bridge then look... More

We were given a tour by the owner, who was very passionate about his product. Found the process of making the balsamic really interesting and would highly recommend to others.

This family run balsamic vinegar place is the real deal. The owner gave us a personalized tour and explained to us the time taking process of producing a top quality balsamic. It was followed by a taste tasting of several kinds of their balsamic vinegars and all were excellent.

The short, informative and most enjoyable, tour is a must to do. The setting, amongst walnut trees and grape vines, was lovely. You do not realize how good quality balsamic vinegar can be until you have sampled the traditional home made production. We, too, came away with quite a few bottles including gifts. We also tried some of the home produced... More

As two foodies balsamico in Modena was high on our list. We were so happy to find this place and it is for free! We spoke with Davide over the phone and even changed the time (we were "stacked" Parma) they welcomed us! The tour is great I've learned a lot about balsamico most of it I didn't know. The... More

For those of us who think we know and love balsamic vinegar, this is a must tour. Don't worry, it is short and enjoyable. The owner Davide was not available, but his young family friend and employee, Francesca, took my wife and me through a private tour of how traditional balsamic vinegar is produced in Modena, and how it differs...
